Dylan Larkin Is Soft

Pronman just released his 2014 NHL re-draft. https://theathletic.com/1584416/2020/02/06/pronman-re-drafting-the-nhls-class-of-2014/?amp#click=https://t.co/dCFPe2uHWf Larkin came in at 4th overall, behind Draisaitl, Patrnak, and Point... Dylan Larkin, C Then: Larkin was a tough player to evaluate in his draft season. He was the USNTDP’s No. 2 center. Its top center was Jack Eichel, who had first-round picks Sonny Milano and Alex Tuch on his wings. Larkin opened the U18 worlds playing between Anders Bjork and Ryan Hitchcock. I knew plenty of scouts who loved Larkin because of his great speed, compete level and how he drove offense without elite linemates. I had questions on the skill and offensive upside. Now: Larkin has emerged as a true No. 1 center, logging huge minutes for the Red Wings the past few years. The physical tools he always had are still apparent, but his skill and particularly his offensive IQ were better than I thought, and it resulted in a top offensive performer even though he’s having a bit of a down season in 2019-20. Fabbri came in at 27th overall. -

This isn’t an explanation of causality, it’s the result of what the explanation is demanding. Your anecdote is an evasion of empiricism and lends itself to some rather uncomfortable interpretations. -

And I give you a hard time but you make your point. I love Howard too. But it's "for better" 100%. -

If, as you suggest, the solution to the plights of a desperate class are to seize sole arbitration of their destiny, irrespective of exogenous obstacles, what then remains as the explanation for the current state? I guess I would also be curious as to how the point of opportunity can be determined, given a concession was made to some effects of discrimination. Particularly with your added example of an exception, which seems to undermine your position as that would obviously be attributed to causal factors, and if not, then again, what alternative remains? -

No job prospects?? Have you seen the "now hiring" signs lining every street in America? What does not having a job have to do with gangs recruiting young black boys as early as elementary school have to do with white people? I already wrote about the responsibilities and culpability white people have in this. Apparently you missed it when I *gasp* said black people need to take on some self-responsibility too. What do you say to the successful black folks?? Also, we went way left of hockey, so I don't think it's out of bounds to include yesterday's #1 twitter and ESPN story, you dense douchebag. And, by the way sweetie... you ******* started the name calling when you couldn't handle facts, you ******* douchebag. I apparently am the only of us that graduated with a four-year degree. But you take your 200-level "woe is black peepole" liberal arts associate's and eat it. That, or sit on a hockey stick until the blade rips your F'ing voice box out. How's that for hockey relevance you ******* douchebag?? The fact that you blame white people for black fathers not sticking by their kids... and somehow twist it into blaming welfare... while at the same time saying there aren't enough programs for black people to succeed.... is such a logical ******* brain scrambler I have no idea how you actually believe the words you type. Douchebag. -

Color Of Hockey - By Singh Harnarayan Here's a good read for you Fox & Friends... Singh chronicles his rise to becoming the most formidable hockey commentator in all of Canada despite bullying for being brown, and everyone telling him he could never do it because it's a white mans sport. And he does it all with a certain panache and splash of humor. It will restore your faith in hockey. A must read for 2020. -
