No matter what happens, I'm proud of this team. With all the changes, all the kids, and the short season with next to no training camp and no pre season. The way they responded when in a situation where they had to win out the last 4 games of the season just to make the playoffs. Having the kids learn playoff intensity on the fly and make this a hell of a series that WILL go to game 7. Love the direction this Wings squad is going, and even if no moves are made, this team will be even better next year. When most teams rebuild, they dwell in the basement for a few seasons. When the Wings rebuild, we give the #2 seed all they can handle in the playoffs. And when we force game 7, anything can happen! BELIEVE

Does it make me a bad ducks fan rooting for the wings to win this game so I get to see a Game 7 that this series deserves?

He stated in the OP that the lines would be updated as they become available. This is a huge game for us. Sometimes the GDT has to come up early so we all have a place to come and get our mojo going, even if the lines aren't finalized. Flashy and Mike have it worked out. It will be updated asap. No worries. Until then, it is most interesting to speculate who will be the one sitting. (There's a thread, but I'm too lazy to post a link. I'm sure you can find it.) Huge game. Good to be rocking. If the Wings get past Anaheim, we'll have to go to Detroit for game 6, then go to Anaheim for game 7, then go to Chicago on short rest for game 1. Lots of travel there.

I will be leaving my job at the end of the month to start medschool, and the people that I work with are all really awesome and we have developed into something of a family over the last year or so. We goof around at work, tease each other, help each other out, support each other in tough times, grab dinner and drinks, movies, etc etc. These friendships are worth hanging onto, so I will make it a point to keep in touch and meet with them whenever time permits. I can't help but think about how I'm going to miss seeing everyone on a daily basis, but at the same time, this job (while fun and stimulating) will not provide me with the opportunities that going to school will, so its in my best interest to leave. Besides, going to school (or in your case a new job) will be a new setting with a whole new group of people that you can befriend. I didn't know you had aspergers, Duck Guy!

That's your captain? Everybody in that organization should be embarrassed watching that play. That kind of laziness isn't OK in the regular season. It's downright pathetic in the playoffs. But at least it yielded an awesome GIF.

It isn't very long actually. People have created a stereotype based on a few star players. When Brett Hull did it, it was just "Brett being brett." When a Russian player does it, it's "look at that lazy Russian." Datsyuk isn't the exception on the Wings. With Fedorov I remember it being more moodiness than doing anything remotely close to what Ovie has done. Larionov, Fetisov, Konstantinov. Those guys weren't lazy.

Nice goal by Crosby. The wheels are coming off for the Isles. And I had to mute the tv because McGuire was so excited on the Crosby goal it was making me uncomfortable. Kunitz just ran Nabokov and may have hit him in the head.

What has happened to him this year? Any other player in hockey, regardless of position, would have tried to stop that shot, regular season or playoffs with the game on the line. He should be stripped of his C for that. I wouldn't trust him if I were a teammates, regardless of offensive skill.
