What an amazing game/atmosphere. I couldn't stop smiling the whole game. It was amazing. I was row six section 1 right next to the tunnel on the Leafs side and it was absolutely awesome. The view of the rink wasn't the greatest but I got to high five and talk to many people who are "celebs" in the hockey community. The end sucks, and i've had one person try to ruin the event for me by rubbing it it, but it was so amazing that no one can take away how awesome the game was. I didn't have any problems with the bathroom. I went up once and it was a pretty long line, but I was in and out in less than five minutes. I also was in the Leafs section and the fans around me were great. I talked to the guys behind me (Leafs fans) for the whole game and had a good time. Only had one Leafs fan try talkin smack on the walk out of the stadium but many Wings fans were there to point out the Leafs "recent" Cup woes haha. Loved the event, so many good things. However one thing stood out that I was waiting along time for. This guy.

I was listening to Leafs radio earlier - forget the player, but he was saying basically the Leafs got away with one. Even Leafs players thought it was suspension worthy. WTF, Shanny?

I think the Wings should all be signed up for Yoga to iron out the groin injuries.

I think he deserved the stick to his face, if for no other reason for being stupid enough to skate too close to the bench. The comment that it was not a taunt is BS. There was a pretty obvious photograph of the incident where he stares right at the bench.

I don't like any of the 3, but hoping for injuries to a Wings player on LGW doesn't garner any positive attention. Side note, I really hope Helm and DeKeyser are back from their groin injuries soon. That is a very uncomfortable injury. In the meantime, glad to see Marchenko get the call this time. Watching the replay of the GR vs Marlies Winter Cassic, he looked solid in the game and he will have to be playing with Quincey. And Flashy G is awesome. Love the Anchorman reference.

I'm pretty fed up with this season.

When I saw game #43 I really thought it would be a get based around helm, but he is injured. Great work though flashy, you never fail to impress!!

No surprise with the back-peddling/apologies by both camps. Injuries may lead to Team USA needing Ryan to be on the team... and well, Ryan wants to be on the team... so hugging it out is in order.

i was at the very top of the stadium. view was ok, spent time watching on the big screen for sure. but luckily for us (me and two leaf fan friends) had such amazing tickets. we didn't even know until we got there that we ended up with box seats. no lines for beer or bathrooms and all the heat we needed. to boot it was the leafs alumni box. sat with gary roberts, bob mcgill and family, lanny mcdonald, brad may. was cool to talk with brad about that goal he scored that they didn't count years ago when playing with the wings. overall i would not change that experience for anything...pregame, post game, was all awesome.

McDavid is freaking 16 years old for a 16 old he has been amazing, the hype surrounding this kid is already through the roof. This kid is something special and whoever drafts him, will have a future franchise center.
