Lashoff has been a real pleasant surprise this season. There's been almost zero bitching about him, which is quite frankly amazing. OK he's playing the fewest minutes of all our regulars on D, but he may be carving a niche out for himself - at the very least he's a reliable placeholder till one of the kids plays him off the roster. Out of intrest, did Smith get an PP time last night with DD out?

Lashoff has quickly become one of my favorites on this team. He knows his role (big, nasty defensive defenseman), and he plays it.

Last gold medal for finns was 16yrs ago, pumpkinhead played in that team with Niklas Hagman...

cleary led the team with 2:35 on the pp then again he now has 53 minutes of PP time this season with no points to show for it, so i guess its not surprising...

They were protesting against shirts and pants.

Oh, and more scenes of random kids skating on outside.

They need to do more slow motion shots for next season's 24/7. There weren't enough of those.

What an amazing game/atmosphere. I couldn't stop smiling the whole game. It was amazing. I was row six section 1 right next to the tunnel on the Leafs side and it was absolutely awesome. The view of the rink wasn't the greatest but I got to high five and talk to many people who are "celebs" in the hockey community. The end sucks, and i've had one person try to ruin the event for me by rubbing it it, but it was so amazing that no one can take away how awesome the game was. I didn't have any problems with the bathroom. I went up once and it was a pretty long line, but I was in and out in less than five minutes. I also was in the Leafs section and the fans around me were great. I talked to the guys behind me (Leafs fans) for the whole game and had a good time. Only had one Leafs fan try talkin smack on the walk out of the stadium but many Wings fans were there to point out the Leafs "recent" Cup woes haha. Loved the event, so many good things. However one thing stood out that I was waiting along time for. This guy.

Does anyone do better justice to a fedora?

Detroit isn't an elite team. They are literally middle of the pack, at 15th out of 30 teams in league. I say go for bust and line up for the McDavid lottery. I am not down on Howard, but, people either severely over rate him or underrate him. He's a Chris Osgood, not a Manny Legace or a Hasek. He's going to be pretty good most of the time, great sometimes, but, beyond that a product of the team that's in front of him.

Howard is amazing for most of his career, has a bad stretch of games, and now people want his head. Unbelievable.

I haven't watched a single moment of any of the popular TV series (Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, etc.)

Football isn't all that interesting.

I can't stand the Simpsons. Yes, really.

I do not like The Eagles. There's maybe 2 songs of theirs that I can tolerate.
