You guys, I don't wanna jump to conclusions or anything, but I'm pretty sure Goose is the second coming of Jesus. The guy is a damn superhuman.

All these injuries have been a blessing in disguise, imagine if we were healthy for most of this season and Nyquist only got 6-7 games all season? Sheahan and Jurco never come up? I feel a hell of a lot better right now about this team's future than I did at the beginning of the season.

I hate Franzen. Doesn't shoot nor get a pass to Nyquist on a 2-on-1 and then lingers in the zone offside because he's tired from skating for the first time in three weeks.

Franzen looks pathetic out there. He isn't even trying he is making stupid passes and is easily giving up on plays. I want to see more kid line in the 3rd and maybe get Nyquist out there with them for some shifts. Come on wings let's get at least a point it's not pretty but we are still in this.

The in-studio guys have been really kind to the Wings. Pierre as well. It's really just "Edzo."

When we return Hank and Pav, we will add our two best to a team that has been playing great and young guys who have stepped up their game. Our players will no longer be waiting on Hank or Pav to score all game long. Nyquist might be one of the next greats for Detroit and hope that he continues his play when they come back. Alfy, Nyquist, Hank, Pav, Helm, Franzen all healthy??? Who wants to draw them in the 1st round of the playoffs? Crickets...

There we go. The one game everyone was conceding. Great job by the kids. Howard with a slew of average saves to keep them in it. I'd say he stole this one. Was Jurco's hit a rallying point (like Legwand's stick against Pittsburgh) and not just a selfish penalty? Showing some snarl is a good thing. If Pavel comes back in decent shape, and things keep going the way they have been, it could be a surprisingly nice postseason. The way the series has gone, maybe the Bruins don't want the Wings in the first.
