I now feel like those retard Blackhawks fans who used to root against us every year, back when their team sucked and ours didn't. Hopefully, we don't have to do this for much longer.

I would have endured it, if I knew before hand that I’d get to hear him cry tonight.

If I was allowed to ask one question to one famous person, in private, I’d be tempted to ask Justin Williams how he mentally prepares for game 7s.

You know the state of NHL officiating is poor when Dan O'Halloran is selected for a Game 7 in the conference finals. Should have just teamed him up with Brad Watson while they were at it.

For once this went the exact way I was hoping for! The night the Wings got eliminated I sat and looked at the remaining teams and concluded that my best case scenario for the finals would be Rangers Vs Kings (in terms of my level of hatred for the other teams). And sure enough, that's how it went down. Now I'm saying Go Rags cause the Kings just got a Cup a few years back, and the Rangers have been Cupless for 20 years. But if the Kings do win it definitely won't break my heart by any means.

    General question

Thanks, my wife is not really into sports but loves dogs Pits mainly and was about to like one of the blackhawk players because they are pit bull advocates and I had to put a stop to all that LOL

The legend of Mr. Game 7 continues to grow... GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!

No kidding. For some idiotic reason, God seems to like the Blackhawks. If I was God, they'd lose on a goal that bounces off the referee's whistle and into the net.

The Berensen comment was a joke and it was said in the context of: my daughter has one year left in high school so I have to stay in Detroit one year for that so, if I'm not with the wings, I'll go be Red's assistant. There's no way Babs would drop down to College level hockey - he's very competitive guy and surely wants to compete at the highest level.

the 1996-97 and 1997-98 Detroit Red Wing Hockey Clubs, still the last teams to win consecutive Stanley Cups: Thank you!

I'm so happy that it wasn't Chicago to break the streak. Every year that passes shows just how tough it is to do that.

He is apparently 7-0 in game sevens, with a 2 PPG average.

3 words: f*** The Hawks. I cheered pretty loud when that puck went in the net, going to enjoy the hockey in the finals.

Meh. This is just another way of reminding me how close we came in 2009. It is definitely tough to repeat, though.

It's such a relief that there's 2 teams in the SCF that I like. Pulling for the Kings, but I won't be disappointed either way.

LoL! I NEVER in my life cheered that loud for another team. I was jumping up and down.

Having weak D on their heels tires you out. By the 3rd period you finally get your dues and get scored on.

Babcock will go two more years in Detroit, then he will replace Red Berensen at Michigan, and Blashill will take over the Wings.

Just means more to take away from them for the Kings

It's an E3! Practically a done deal! Seriously though, I would hate to see what Kenny would give up for him..after the Legwand trade...

I still get chills down my spine when watching the 96-97 video. The best memory ever!
