    acctualy I dont like him at all, but I dont think you should wish bad on any of our players, you can call them out but not wish anything bad on him.

    From watching youtube clips of all of Weiss's career goals, he never really scores highlight reel goals. He has a knack for the net and is good at positioning himself to get the puck...hopefully tonight is a sign that he's back in form. I'm very happy for him, would be HUGE if he could be a legit second line center and put up a 50-55 point pace.

    I look at him as decaf. (A lite version of Paul Coffey). I totally agree he is weak defensively. He's almost more of a rover than a d-man.

    I think they picked it up in the 2nd half of the period, and if they keep it going should blow it open, provided they can continue getting traffic in front of Anderson. Maybe Abdelkader should have Holmstrom come spend the holidays and work on the net front game. Just don't let him make any home improvements. I'd love to see Weiss pop one and get some confidence.

    Our shots weren't that dangerous and pretty easy to save. As I already said, we didn't put enough pressure at Andersson imho. Nevertheless a decent first period, most notable for me is that Weiss is not notable. A good thing, because he's not sticking out like a sore thumb despite the unusual position and his first game back in.

    Redmond is my guy. I really enjoy the way he can see plays develop before they happen. His constant berating of the refs used to bother me (which he has toned down) but the refs are truly awful and inconsistent. Make up calls should not exist, call a penalty if it's a penalty.
