First post of the GDT. Several observances so far. 1. I had a feeling we'd respond strongly after Zetterberg called the team out. Looks like a totally different team. 2. The Pens should make these uniforms their primary ones. Real yellow looks better on a hockey jersey than bland yellow. 3. Chris "Mila" Kunitz is a little Hudler faced ***** who I've been wishing injury on for many years. 4. What the hell happened between Hornqvist and Hank? I thought Zetterberg being the Swedish captain would be somewhat more respected by his countrymen/teammates.

And forget Phaneuf and extend zidlicky another year he's a perfect fit for the wings

I know it's sacrilege to deviate from the "Crysby" script, but I am legitimately impressed with how he has turned his attitude around for the most part. Can I just take a moment to say how happy I am that we got Cole and Zidlicky? I just looked through box scores and since joining the Wings they both have 4 points in 6 games (including today's so far). And I didn't really pay attention but I think their assists are all primary, too.

Everyone blames the Defense. Other goalies in this league on worse teams steal games. Howard just can't seem to do that. From what I saw, quite a few of those goals were stoppable. Good on Babs for leaving him out there. Maybe he's sick of his half assed play as well.

Watching that replay kunitz should have 100% been ejected. Yeah tell me the NHL cares about head injuries when kunitz sends Abby crashing to the ice. Don't expect to see a suspension.
