Because it is pre season and Blash is new to head coaching some of these guys and he wants to see for himself who has chemistry with who? Let me reinforce the word preseason and it is considered practice

Let's wait for the justice system to rule out what happened before we assume she's just after a pay cheque.

Kane case headed to grand jury

Wasn't even the model herself. It was someone who got the pics. Back to Kane, I doubt he'll never pick up another girl again. He may want to keep meetings public until he actually gets to know her. In my day, that was called "dating". I doubt he'll do that. I actually hope this thing goes to jury just so that the evidence will be at the forefront of discussion rather than the whole "he said, she said" thing with people injecting personal bias into it. I was impressed with that DA. At least the people looking at the evidence are not looking for a dog and pony show or publicity.

    Datsyuk update

I'm not sure where to put this, but he just tweeted 10 min ago: Pavel Datsyuk @Datsyuk13 Great News! Had a good doctor visit. Recovery from the ankle surgery is on schedule. See you soon back in Detroit. Good News for #13

This. We don't know anything. (And as rape cases often go, we peobably never will.) Maybe there is other evidence and/or witnesses. Maybe the rape kit was analyzed before it got into the mothers hands. Innocent until proven guilty also applys to the girl.

We had a prospect goalie play half the game. Additionally you can look at the shots on goal. Detroit outshot (10-4) Squad A in the third period and mitigated their defense. Like you said yourself. A vet team wouldn't have given them as much space right? So then how come Chicago's vet team let our prospects shoot 38 times on them? Seems like they had plenty of space to me. The game ended with Detroit 38 shots on goal and Chicago with 37! Not to mention we took one more penalty than they did. Everything here points to the fact that our prospect team held its own against the Chicago squad A team (most part). I've yet to see how our prospects can't handle it. You can argue that "well it was Chicago, I bet if it was Pittsburg's squad A then prospects would have sucked" My response is that Chicago won the stanley cup and so on paper they ARE one of the best teams in the NHL. Can't get a better challenge than that.

    2015-16 Prospect Watch

I just read on hfboards that he was 10/21 on draws, so a tick under 50%. Not bad considering he's new to the position.

Kane case headed to grand jury

What a complete moron only $2,000?

If we're going with this analogy... Our waiver eligible kids are barely junior officers, not field generals or something... and cannons are... well... explody! We need explody!!

I listen to Pink Floyd when trying to retain my grasp on my sanity. Only certain songs, of course. Some Floyd songs are counterproductive to that effort. The funny part is that I had a mouse in the house and he liked Floyd too. I used this against him by luring him out and setting the trap near where I knew he would go. He has been relocated to Minnesota now.

I agree with this. I hope the Wings don't just keep him up to play bottom 6 minutes. He has the potential to learn at the AHL level this year and they really should make sure he starts with the Griffins. Keep in mind that Larkin has not felt the grind of a long AHL/NHL season. I would like to see how he does after 40 games, 60 games, and then 70 games.

I'll preface this by saying I love Pulkkinen. I know people who've met him and they say he's super down to earth and literally lives and breathes hockey. However, I really do believe he is one dimensional based on his play. His foot speed is a lot better than what draft scouts suggested, but he is a slapper and nothing else. I think he's the type of player you put next to a really great playmaker like Datsyuk or Zberg, but at the end of the day he's closer to a Damien Brunner than a Brett Hull, as he's so often compared to. IDK though I could be 100% wrong, just my limited view. My point is I think Larkin MIGHT deserve a nod before Teemu

Tonight will be Dylan Larkin's debut on the JLA ice playing for his hometown Detroit Red Wings. Stop and think about that for a minute. I know it happens all over the place from time to time, but the first shift he takes can you imagine the tears flowing from the eyes of his dad and mom? Can you just imagine for a minute all the years of practices, getting up at 3am, all the travel all the equipment purchased, all the money spent, all the memories of their child first learning how to skate using a chair or one of the newer plastic apparatus' they have now, all the tears Dylan cried when he thought he couldn't do it, he'd fall down and not want to get back up...my God, it's not only a rush of those memories because Dylan made it to the NHL, and that is overwhelming enough, 99% of the families who go through all the same motions don't even get a sniff of the NHL, but he was drafted by and is now playing for the hometown Detroit ******* Red Wings! Pardon my French. Talk about dream of dreams, Mr. and Mrs. Larkin congratulations, God bless you and let those tears flow! All the years and struggles you have endured, the times you wanted to give up or had to call in sick to work to go to the next tournament or game or parent meeting, it has all been worth it. Exhale. You deserve it. I can't even imagine the euphoria they will be feeling tonight when he steps onto that hallowed ice. It most certainly is not his first time on that ice surface, hell, even two of my son's played tourney's on that ice, but as he pulls that sweater over his head, ties his laces tight, briefly remembering how many times his father had to do it for him, maybe just one more time wishing dad would make sure they were just right so he wouldn't fall and could share in this one time moment with him. As he walks down that hallway and puts his first foot onto that ice for the first time as a Detroit Red Wing in the arena he grew up (as well as his father grew up) watching their favorite players and fantasizing about being an NHL player. You made it, you are a Detroit Red Wing....Wow.

After reading about that last year I emailed the company, but they do not yet have a process for ALS patients. Even in the face of death, Gordie is still inspiring . GORDIE!
