Just because he was drafted high doesn't make him an NHL caliber player. If his last name wasn't Ferarro and he was still eligible, he'd be in the minors for a long time. Noone wouldve traded for Ferarro, but what does Boston have to lose by taking him for free when they need to replace Chris Kelly Players get lost on waivers all the time, its a numbers game. Some players fit where others don't. See your boy, Miller. TB was horrible when we picked him up.

Its funny how some people feel that EVERY single pick needs to turn into a stud or the GM is doing a bad job. People that are going to start criticizing Holland for his drafting skills either have zero clue what they are talking about, are trolling, or dont like Holland and will say anything they can against him.

Wrong move in my opinion. Anderson is the one who should have been waived. Ferraro, at least, has speed.

I can get on board with Andersson on waivers but Jurco? Come on, that would be such a horrible management move, we could at least get a decent return for him in a trade. ESPECIALLY Ferarro over Jurco? 4th liners are a dime a dozen, we have 8 guys in the AHL who can come and replace him. note: I am not a Jurco supporter

Certainly an exaggeration to say he's "blamed for all that's wrong", but I think he is turning into a scapegoat for the struggling offense. People nitpick him more than most players. Notice mistakes they'd overlook in others. Larkin has missed a lot of shots and had a lot blocked as well, no one notices. Every GDT has some form of "Pulkkinen sucks". People notice when he loses a battle or makes a bad play, but never notice anything good other than goals. Even those sometimes get comments like "I still hate Pulkkinen". It's irrational. It's far too early to try to predict what Pulks can be. He's played 54 games. 11 goals and 18 points. At 54 games, Tatar had 11 goals and 21 points. Nyquist had 8 goals and 21 points, or 6 and 17 if you count playoffs. He's following the same trajectory as those two so far, and there's no reason to think he won't or can't improve the same way they did.

I love 3-on-3 and think it's suited to our team. OT record is 4-2. We're 1 of 9 teams that haven't played a shootout yet and I (and Jimmy) would be fine if we never do this year.

Trade him to a team that will give him good minutes, he'd put up similar numbers as Tatar and Nyquist, Nyquist is the best player overall out of the three but Jurco has more skill and a higher ceiling than them both. If we are moving one of the three I'd choose Tatar, Tatar Kindl and a 5th for Fowler

You've made so many boneheaded plays (posts) that even when you make a good play (post) it goes unnoticed, and everyone on LGW are just waiting for you to do (say) anything so they can chew you up... Anyway, I agree with 100% here. Anyone that thinks Jurco has been given a fair shot since his rookie campaign when he was a staple on that third line, clearly haven't been paying attention. The kid has been in and out of the lineup more than anyone, and if he doesn't produce in one game he's out or bumped to the forth line. He's been on a shorter leash than any player on the team, when even when not producing provides much more than many on the team. Jurco is legit, and it's only a matter of time before he breaks into the league as a top 6 winger. This should be a huge confidence boost for him and he definitely needed it. Keep it going kid!

He played with Dats and Tatar a bit. I remember. But he's not getting top line treatment like Abby by any means. They had him stuffed with the 4th line or 3rd line the majority of the time.

I dont think there is anyway that happens. Zetterberg will have the C until he retires. Larkin will possibly get an A on his jersey when Datsyuk leaves. Kronwwall will wear an A until he leaves.

Are you saying if Steve or hank had won they would have fizzled out? I know that's not what you're saying but it's not like Larkin is gonna be some fly by night kid he has all the tools to be an all star for a long time. Many great players HAVE won it. But I doubt he gets it, wings players never get the same respect as the big hype players
