Nyquist is a complete non factor in every important hockey game

I can't really blame Jimmy too much.

I disagree. They are that good, they just aren't playing like it, which is what makes it so frustrating.

Well the refs did their job tonight. 100% took the momentum away with three weak calls. But blash not doing anything to mix it up...how bout a timeout how bout mixing up the lines?

That's what playoff teams do - they beat bottomfeeders like Columbus and move on

Sorry to say but this team does not deserve to be in the playoffs. Very sorry state of affairs.

Detroit is a great team when they're down by 3

When you lose an important game in this fashion it's called being UNPREPARED... Bad coaching. Same thing happened against Phillidelphea. Playing this way in key games like this is unacceptable and a sign of a bad coach

Kronwall has to be the worst "#1" defenseman in the entire league.

this team simply can't play a full game

Here go again.... we did this last game, too. So, please, Wings -- start playing, like, NOW???

Kronwall with the f*** up again....such a disappointment.

Kronwall is an embarrassment. We can thank him for being down 2-0 in 10 minutes

No he didn't. He had one good year as an older player. He's an Andrew Shaw type. Not a first line scorer. Your constant ragging up of Bertuzzi is getting old...

    Fixing this mess....

For the people talking about Datsyuk making $7 million - or even $5 million if he signs another extension and only plays 50 games and produces like 34 points. Let me ask you a question (and answer it too) How much did Steve Yzerman make in his 1 year extension in 2005/06 and how much did he produce? GP 61 PTS 34 Salary $1,250,000 Now I'm not saying Datsyuk would be paid $1.25 mill but to assume he would get $6 million as a 39 year old FORWARD (NOT DEFENSE FFS) is absurd. He can easily be an affordable re-sign and his contract will workout depending on his assumed longevity (i.e they know he can no longer play the full season) and the kids will get their play time. Building around the kids & keep the veteran for cheaper.
