I'd like to see a Tatar Helm Larkin 3rd line and see how solid our top 9 can produce. That wouldn't be the worst case scenario, especially with Tatar heating up a bit here lately. Mrazek back in net, needs to show up big and allow less than 3 if he wants to even begin to make a case for starting again sometime this season. After a few bad starts, he played well in relief against Boston and has to keep up that form if he wants to secure more starts. Let's try to make it 4 wins in a row, and LGW!

Exactly my point. Somewhere in the middle is being confused about what ya want. Nothing wrong with it, we've been spoiled for 25 years and it's new to us. I want us to make playoffs, but there are days where even I'm not sure if it matters. I do however, find it unacceptable to see my team at the bottom of the standings. Personally.

That's not true, though. Howard played game 1 and game 2. Both goalies were rough at the end of last season, but Howard had a couple good games right at the end so he got the nod.

You are aware who is starting tonight right? Blash is just going with the hot hand, so if Mrazek continues to play well, like he did last game, he will continue to get starts... making him the starter once again...

My guess is that is it is likely based on his performance in the AHL when he helped the Griffins with a Calder Cup, his entire first year on the Wings in 2014/15 season, his first half of the 2015/16 season , his performance in the playoffs, and his obvious athleticism. There is no doubt that Mrazek has sucked since his birthday last year, and I am not about to hand him the job like some others. But, based on what he has shown in his first 3-4 years in the Wings organization, many including myself still see the potential. I guess its easier to just say he sucks though huh.

I understand what tanking for a high draft pick is. But why do you even bother to watch the games if you're hoping we lose them?
