My philosophy is that the fans pay everyone's paycheck.....they bought tickets, they have the right to boo.

Update on Otto Kivenmaki: He's been playing with Assat's junior level team most of the year. He got called up to the pro team earlier this year and scored 4 pts in 22 games. Not all that impressive... got sent back down after the 22 game stint. Recently he's been called up for a 2nd stint with the pro team and has scored 6 pts in 5 games so far. Seems he's carved out a niche on the team. For reference, Assat is a VERY bad team. They've won like 15 games of their last 53, and Kivenmaki's 10 pts in 27 games gives him some of the best ppg stats on the team. Pretty good for a 5'8" 140 lb 18 year old playing with grown men. Everything I've read says his skill level is elite. Just a small dude.

It's a lot worse than the Islanders were IMO. The fanbase hates Melynk so much I can't understand how he can even show his face anywhere near Ottawa. I really wanted to put it all in exact chronological order, but too daunting for me to align all the dates

Where is all the HYPE??? Did we not just lose our last game EIGHT to ONE??? We're not going to out-tank Ottawa (Colorado), but we will finish in the bottom 3. Regardless where we finish though, we will win the "Jack" Pot in the Draft Lottery...

No s***. There should be a radius clause. A cup or 1st rounder within the past 5 years? No lottery win for you. I mean, if the NHL really was serious about true parity instead of just enforcing a hard cap so the league's albatros franchises can hang on.

Can we out tank Ottawa? Or are they unstoppable? And LA and Edmonton need to seriously back the f*** off like fo real you don't need to be down here

After using the tankathon about 20 times, the team's that won the lottery the majority of the time were New Jersey and Vancouver. Detroit only once. It makes me feel that if we aren't going to win #1, I'd rather finish between 5-10 and possibly move up bit than finish 1-2 and get dumped on by the balls, which will probably happen. There's no way the NHL allows Detroit to get Jack Hughes. Not while Bettman is in charge.

For Christ sake Colorado has that Ottawa pick. I totally forgot. Must be good to be an Avs fan right now watching that Sens implosion all year. Imagine if they add Hughes... stupid
