A sharpshooter with skill who competes hard". He wont be Ovi but as a player comp stylistically it makes sense. MBN plays like a bull in a china shop and has an elite shot. Anyone not excited about this pick isnt paying attention just listening to the talking heads "its another typical safe Yzerman pick". I hope its another Seider/Raymond/Edvinsson/Kasper/Danielson pick all looking like good-great players. "Shoulda picked upside". MBN oozes upside.

Uhhhhhhh... where did I say NYR doesn't want to honor his NTC? I've heard nothing about NYR not honoring it. He submitted a 15 team no trade list on july 1 and they can only trade him to the other 17. If you had bothered to read... I said there's a report stating that the OTHER 17 NOT ON HIS NO TRADE LIST no longer have interest, because of his attitude over all this. He's made it apparent that wherever he goes he won't be happy about it and the sour attitude will continue. He's the one refusing to act like a pro here in order to get his way. Guy is cancer.

Yes, but do you really want to stay with a team that clearly no longer wants you? And its a modified NTC. The Rangers literally could be a-holes and send him to the West Coast if they wanted to. They were doing him a favor by negotiating with his hometown team. Trouba agreed to that clause just as much as the team did. But the Rangers seem to be the only ones willing to be accommodating.

I am definitely not ready for a second consecutive top 10 pick needing 3 years before he's NHL ready.

If you go to the bars together, I recommend taking separate cabs.
