Hairy Lime 234 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 It. Has. Begun! I think this may be the first trade Holland has made over the last several seasons that has pleased almost everyone. 1 pondrocket reacted to this
Bill Berzeench 310 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 I always liked Kindl. But he just never found an edge. Gotta play with an edge in the NHL. 2 roboturner and sjr2012 reacted to this
Jesusberg 1,256 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 Only retaining 15% (360K) on his contract. I'm good with that. Thought it would be more. 1 krsmith17 reacted to this

jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 Holland got rid of 1mill in dead cap space, and a 6th round pick for someone who cleared waivers twice. Awesome move. 3 krsmith17, TheXym and NerveDamage reacted to this

nyqvististhefuture 1,002 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 Was hoping for a 5th , but whatever at least we actually got something for an asset Hoping were strongly considering trading Richards and Quincey since I don't see both coming back and possibly helm , but I won't expect it Glad kindl's gone though

Jesusberg 1,256 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 Important to keep this in mind, too: General Fanager @generalfanager 5m5 minutes ago General Fanager Retweeted Elliotte Friedman #RedWings set to end with $0 space, so Larkin, Richards bonuses could give them overage. Moving Kindl helps there.
Barrie 900 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 Knowing Kenny, he'll turn that 6th round pick into a 2nd line Center!
kickazz 5,459 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 (edited) Knowing Kenny, he'll turn that 6th round pick into a 2nd line Center! psh that's nothing. He turned Ericsson who was a 9th round LAST player to be drafted in the entire day into a first line defenseman. ------- But seriously that trade was win for Detroit. Retain only 15% of the salary is it? edit- Just saw original post, 15% it is. Nice. Edited February 27, 2016 by kickazz 1 pondrocket reacted to this
jimmyemeryhunter 2,747 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 I think ericsson is alot better than anyone gives him credit for. He doesn't put up points, but he's our best d man at clearing the crease. He makes mistakes, sure, but all d men do. His are just magnified because he plays alot and he's usually out there against 1st liners who make his small mistakes into legit scoring chances. But he's much less mistake probe than most of our dmen. 5 krsmith17, nosyt612, greene709 and 2 others reacted to this

puckbags 863 Report post Posted February 27, 2016 Good luck to Kindl, he was never consistent enough to stay in the lineup but he does have NHL experience and a decent skill set. He will bring some value to the Panthers.
