What Bert did happens (happened) in hockey a lot, you mess with a team's star you have to expect some sort of retaliation. Did Bert go on the ice that night intending to end Moore's career? Probably not, but when the passion of the moment takes over accidents happen. Vick knowingly ran a dog fighting ring, and tortured and killed innocent and helpless dogs. Not the same!!!

You wouldn't think it, but Ovechkin has a pretty big hate following too. I noticed this when watching videos on Youtube. I'm pretty sure though that most of the Ovechkin haters, are actually just Crosby fans. Was watching Datsyuk videos, and found he had a few haters too. I wasn't even mad. It actually made me smile I don't know if it's just me or not, but I freaking LOVE when people hate on the Wings. It's the same feeling I get when an ex-girlfriend tries to get back with me. That feeling of "OH yeah, you know you love it." As far as Bert, I can see why he was hated during his stint with Vancouver, but lets be honest. That dude has completely reinvented himself, especially this year. Bertuzzi v2010, is not even close to the same man he use to be. At first I thought this was going to be a thread about what Superstitions people have. I think it still should be. I grow a playoff beard. If I have a girlfriend, that can really piss them off I can grow a pretty thick beard pretty fast. I don't say words like sh#tout, unless it ends up happening. Then I will say it, but only for that day. Next morning, it's back to not saying it. I do say Hat Trick though, unfortunately, I think I jinxed Hank in the last game Sorry Hank!!!!! I use to have a lucky Yzerman Jersey, that I wore every time there was a game. I couldn't wear it at work, but I carried it around with me anyway. We won the cup the year I had that, but a girl stole it from me. I don't have a lucky jersey now. I want to buy a Datsyuk Jersey, but I refuse to do it until the season is over. Sometimes Jerseys are cursed. I don't want to buy one of the cursed one's by accident, while the season is going on. If it's cursed I won't be able to wear it.

So is it more about Howard or Price? I have seen you around always wanting Price and wishing we traded for him... i don't get this sentiment. I believe price is a damn good goaltender too but he plays in a completely different system. I don't really want to go into the difference in systems and the different types of saves a goalie has to make in the systems because it will fall on deaf ears but there is a large difference.

Yeah, of all the goalies out there, Ozzie seems to be one of the ones most able to roll with the punches and not internalize losses badly. I know sometimes that is frustrating to fans, when there's a bad loss and he's just shaking it off, but that's got to be better for a goalie's mental longevity than a long rant about self-blame. Oh, and also: OZZIE! OZZIE! OZZIE! OZZIE!

I agree with all this ^^^ He needs to get some games played now that he's healthy I hope that Babcock starts working a rotation. As much as I love Osgood, I know he's not going to play a lot of games but Jimmy does need some rest. He'll be fine, even if the game is a loss. The entire team is usually the cause of a loss, not just the goalie and Ozzie knows this.

I'm expecting some rust on Ozzie, and the game may be more challenging, but my expectation is not perfection for a guy who has played a handful of games in as many months. I'm cutting him some big slack for Saturday's game. And all I have to say is I'd rather get him started now in a rotation than wait until March like last year and wear Jimmy out (although he has the stamina of a bull). If we lose, we lose. If we win, even better. The overall benefits far outweigh the negatives.

Like hell i do, i've been wrong once this season in a predtiction that is all.
