Ok, so I remembered I had saved several photos from the 2009 Photoshop war we had done against the Hawks when we beat them. I think the Wings have got a shot. That said, I'm also in the fortunate position of being satisfied with the season already as of tonight. I'll enjoy it either way.

My first submission of probably many for this series. Created minutes after the game concluded tonight.

I assumed Kesler and the twins would be untouchable. Really? I don't think I would. I want Dats to retire a Red Wing ... couldn't handle seeing him in another uniform. I'd try to get him to sign a short extension 2-3 years if he wants to play a little longer. But even if we don't get a single thing back for not trading him if he decides to retire in 2014, I still wouldn't pull the trigger on him. He is too fun to watch.

Some of them were out of position maybe, but they were at least trying to make a play. That is nothing like what Ovechkin is doing here. Literally coasting towards the guy about to score a goal. He had the best seat in the house. The YT clip shows the best angle. I thought he came off the bench but he was on the ice the whole time, coasting from center ice. When you're paid $9.5 million a year you're expected to be a star player. And a star player doesn't coast towards the net like that. That was the game winner. In the playoffs. Do you guys seriously see nothing wrong with his play there? I wonder how his teammates feel about his effort ? Yeah, Semin was clearly the problem in Washington.

Oh, I forgot some of my favorites: I do believe we didn't spend a frickin dime at the trade deadline, kept all of our prospects, and still have made it this far. I do believe others overpaid like no other and have zero percent to show for it. I do believe we won more playoff games than Minnesota. I do believe we made it to the second round, unlike Minnesota. I do believe Suter and Parise are enjoying watching Red Wings hockey right now. I do believe centcougar is enjoying watching Red Wings hockey right now. I do believe we won't have ~23% of our capspace tied to 2 players.

I watch those jokers all the time and there is no one on that team I want as a red wing. Kessler dividedthe locker room this year and he is too much of a weirdo to be on the wings. They all have piss poor attitudes and don't have enough class. There is a reason they got swept this year.
