Not to mention he's a guy that can bolster the C lineup in gr which I believe is what everyone expects is going to happen, considering his agent's comments about Blash. Talent is talent whether we draft it and it develops over there or it develops over there and then we sign it and develop it further. Nobody said he'll be an experiment on the big club. He's just like every other prospect now. And he's one of our better ones at center so I don't know why anyone would consider this a bad thing.

Link? Because the sources I found name the last few years as the best ratings since 1975. I don't understand why people rush to defend Bettman by pointing out how much money he's made owners. Who cares?? I don't own a franchise. I'm a fan of the game. Bettman succeeds because he knows us die hard hockey fans will keep coming back no matter how many reasons he gives us not to. People seem to have a misconception that the Commissioner's only job is just to make a crapload of money for ownership. It's not. It's also to protect the integrity of the game and uphold public confidence in the league. By that measure Bettman has done a terrible job.

The Kings certainly earned it. Fun team to watch play and they prevented Chicago from winning it all most importantly. However, that's two in three years so it's gonna be harder rooting for them going forward. Seeing the Stanley Cup is easily the coolest moment in sports. Hockey is the best.

The only thing you do when you sign a player to an offer sheet is do the other team's negotiating for them unless you make the world's worst offer. There's a good reason nobody makes them often and only one hasn't been matched.

Are people actually serious about offer sheets? I don't get how you guys are arguing what Kip is saying... Everything he has said is completely accurate. There is no point in offer sheeting a player. There is no way we would get him without ridiculously overpaying. And the most important thing... There is absolutely ZERO chance Mr. Ken Holland offer sheets any player. He knows it is bad business and why make enemies when it accomplishes absolutely nothing.

People get way too caught up on these guys. Fedorille Brunnerstromov is just another guy who has torn up Europe and has a lot to learn about what it takes to be more than a role player in the NHL.
