I don't know, I just hope it isn't Babcock. It seems like he's lost his effectiveness. You can't trade out an entire team, and it's time for a shake up. Thanks, Mike...we had a good run, and we all appreciate. I wish you luck with whoever takes you on, but I think we've stretched this thing out long enough.

Babcock, Blashill, Bylsma, McClellan, or Tippett if the Coyotes are dumb enough to fire him.

Here's my problem with Mike. He comes out last night and says "we battled our butts off to get in the playoffs" and "the media didn't pick us to make the playoffs" So in that vain it's a great coaching job. Yeah, not so fast. This team was pushing for tops in the East in February, Mike came out to the media and said this was the best team he's coached since 09 a couple of months ago. Holland picks up 2 guys who, at the time, seemed like great fits. We sputtered down the stretch, what happened to our amazing coach? Yes, Mike is one of the best coaches in hockey. I'll never dispute that, but I think I've heard one to many Babockisms, and I'm ready for a change.

How about Dan Cleary with Jason Williams and Mikael Samuelsson as his assistants.

If Babs doesn't coach the Wings next year, I hope he stays in the East so that I can watch Blashill beat him all season long with his old roster.

Team needs to try something new for fu*k's sake. Stop with the status quo which has accomplished nothing in the last 7 years. Bring on Blashill

I hope its Babcock with a Director of player Personnel tag attached to it. I think he is an incredible hockey mind and has earned the right to call his own roster as well as lines.

I'll only be worried about Babcock leaving if Hitchcock leaves the blues. And really not even that worried then. Why would babs go to another rebuild (oilers, leafs, sabers) when he just lived through ours.. Babs will be back in hockeytown. Let's just hope we can sign an actually quality rh d man (no offense Zid).

Blashill...seriously if you heard Blash and Babs doing an interview you wouldn't notice the difference.

Tortorella would honestly be a pretty good option, has the experience to back it up. Would make the postgames so much more interesting lol.
