Whats the point of taking a chance on Kopitar, we won't re-sign him. We have way more issues then another center, how about using that package to aim towards an actual need, like a #1 D.

Frank, no one has any idea exactly what was said by Burrows. However, there is a line, even when trash talking, and for all we know, he very well could have crossed that line. If he was chirping anything to do with his brothers suicide, that is a line you just don't cross, and I hope Tootoo pounds Burrows face in next time they meet. Its pointless, you say "AA & Mantha should not be on the 4th line, MIller is a better fit there in 2015" he hears "Miller is better then Mantha and AA, I am in love with him as a player". He's either trolling, or just doesn't get it. Would you really want to get rid of Nyquist for a rental? If the trade guaranteed that Kopitar would resign that would be one thing, but it doesn't.

I disagree with the notion that we need a goal scorer. I think we need somebody that drives possession and can compliment skill players. Something like Washington did getting Oshie and Williams. Guys that are physically tough and can chip in 40-50 points. I want a battler, we've got enough guys that can finish if we could just maintain offensive zone time.

Pretty sick of seeing Jurco scratched in favor of Andersson. I can't imagine what he is doing so wrong to not pop into the lineup.

I think with guys like Marchenko and Ouellette coming through we don't need a super expensive #1 if we can beef up the forward group. Maybe if we could scoop up a guy like Wideman or another cheaper option. Z is carrying this team offensively and in the next few years we can't keep leaning on him like we are.

Seems like every game the team is getting more comfortable with Blashill's systems. You can really see the difference where early on there seemed to be a little hesitance in adapting from what was the norm for so long. Now we just need the system and the players to generate more shots and greasy goals. Kopitar is a centre. No Gm gives up all that for a rental either. Hypothetical trades bug me because nobody really has any clue what it would take and who is interested unless we get a solid rumour or statement

Yes I'd give up Pulk, Nyq and Smith for Kopitar in a second. Maybe Kopitar is a rental maybe he's not but this season, we are way better immediately. And obviously we work real hard to sign him while he is here. Let's wait to see how it fits all season though. I think it'd work beautifully though. Tatar - Datsyuk - Kopitar Larkin - Zetterberg - Abdelkader Sheehan - AA - Helm Miller - Glendening - Feraro/Anderson

Zombo, i feel like Larkin's speed and high hockey IQ alone can be a good upside to the Z/Pav unit. Maybe this could be an exception to power forward rule?

Yeah, +/- isn't worth much. But he's a pretty good skater and his defense is no worse than Tatar or Nyquist. He's leading our team in takeaways, 3rd lowest Corsi against, and been on the ice for only 3 goals against, 2 of those being empty nets. He hasn't been playing with Sheahan by the way. Andersson and Helm for a couple, then AA replacing Helm last game. He also played with Tatar and Larkin for a few games. Plenty of good skaters. Hasn't stuck with anyone for more than a few games.

That video is the most upvoted hockey video on reddit, by far I believe. His back story really won me over. First pro Inuit. Inuit name translates to "Thunder". Eats like an only meat diet or something (I believe many inuits do). Overcame his brothers suicide. Overcame his own drug problems. Classy as all heck and fearless as all heck at just 5'9'. Hard not to like that guy.
