I think it's ripe for a good Kronwalling tonight....

Ha! Hans and Franz are such girlie men compared to No Hans and Frans.

You may say Tigger and Pooh, but we know it's Ferris and Cameron. The Wings should be less obvious in the tank than faking this injury and taking our star out of the lineup.

For some reason I want to call Helm and Neilsen Hans and Franz! Keep your heads up

Go Abby! That POS threw the first punch then went limp.

In all fairness, the one he scored was also very late.

Guess they don't tape 'em up and keep playing like they used to... that's too bad. Mantha was one of the players I really enjoyed watching this season

Made me laugh lol Tkachuk is a little s*** disturber for sure, but the drama has been great to watch and I want more. I love to see the big bad kings get all upset about this punk kid who won't back down. Even after all the grief they gave him about the elbow to the head, and coming over to intimidate him during the warmups, Tkachuk STILL throws a wild hit targeting Doughty lol. This kid is fearless. A real treasure. Have at em boy!

Tkachuk is a little weasel on the ice just like his fat dad.

    The Streak is officially over

“I sit back and shake my head,” Nill says. “The era that we live in right now, with social media and reading some of the comments about the franchise and Kenny Holland, I’m amazed at the lack of respect that occurred there. It’s an incredible feat and I don’t think it gets as much respect as it should.” http://www.torontosun.com/2017/03/29/red-wings-playoff-streak-is-over-but-it-was-amazing Nill needs to worry about his own team and to stop and realize that what people are complaining about is the last 2-3 years, and what happened 20+ years ago is irrelevant to now.

Sticking with a bad coach is a worse idea, They need to find a guy who knows ow to work with young talent and let them play their game while working on their weaknesses. Blashill was supposed to be that then turned into Babcock lite.

What a weird feeling. Never had to NOT put the playoff wins counter up there. Earlier on this season I was on the "fire Blashill, trade everyone" train... I'm still on it. Time to break everything down and build it back up. I'd rather deal with a few down years for a proper rebuild with the right people in the front office than continue with half-measures as everything wilts.

Didn't feel like it justified a whole new thread... But on this day 3/27 (1973) Mickey Redmond became the first Wing ever to score 50 goals in a season. And the man is still a treasure.

I will miss the Joe greatly, the smell, the sound, being right on top of the ice. The new Arena will be nice but it won't be the Joe sadly

Of all my good memories there, watching my son's play there is one of my greatest! Here's a photo of my son Mat, #21, waiting for the puck drop!
