I'm not even pissed at the Wings. They aren't really playing any different than they have all season long. I'm pissed at the Penguins for gifting us two points. I'm pissed at the Sabres and Senators for being tire fires. I'm pissed at Bobrovsky and the Jackets for letting us score four goals on them instead of the usual one or two or zero. I'm pissed at the Habs for being the Habs. I'm pissed at the Blackhawks for being the Blackhawks. I'm pissed at the Oilers for being the Oilers. I'm pissed at the Islanders for being the Islanders. It's the Wings versus the world and the world has chosen to throw the damn match.

Yeah i’ll be happy when he’s finally gone as well. He probably could have been traded at the deadline, but Holland thinks he’s worth a 2nd rounder. Of course no ones paying that for an 8 year vet that’s accomplished nothing in his career except run of the mill regular season stats.

Howard's s***ty puck control caused 4th goal and I think my dog could've stopped the OT goal...but for sure didn't need any points, but this guy is reallyg bad. He'll probably be back next season, but he shouldn't. Don't know if I can watch another season of him. He's NEVER earned the money he was paid. Tank is fine next year, but do it without having a goalie sucking up your money. Ugh....he's horrible.

Look, I'm glad we lost so I hate that I'm in a position to defend anyone here, but we got outshot 41-27 after going up 4-1. This is hardly Howard's fault. If not for the posts, and Howard's second period play, we probably lose this game 7-4 in regulation. Like most of our problems, this is largely on the league's worst defensive unit.

Wings haven't won a Cup since Brett Lebda left. Wings haven't made the playoffs since Joakim Andersson left. You can keep all your fancypants Fedorovs and Datsyuks and Bill Ranfords and Robert Langs. I know who the real MVPs are.

Why before Z? Zetterberg was an assistant captain since like his 3rd year in the NHL and eventual Captain. He’s top 5 in almost every offensive category for the Red Wings franchise now. And he did it in a much harder era than other forwards did.. That guy is def going up first.

Mrazek is not what concerns majority of Flyers fan right now. That Haks is able to bench Ghost in OT. He´s playing usually Lehtera istead of Patrick on PP (and he put him on PP against NYI and guess what?), organisation does prefer Hagg over Sanheim.

Yep, it was a s***ty moment, that's for sure. I happened to be visiting a friend in Calgary during the playoffs that year, so that made it even worse. Was a fun couple months there though, that city was pumpin! That loss was far from Joseph's fault, same as the Anaheim series the year before. He gave the team more than enough to win. I never blamed him like many others. The whole Joseph/Hasek situation was a major s***show on Holland's part. Joseph was already the starter for a year, then Hasek suddenly decides he's coming out of retirement. I don't blame Kenny for picking up the option to sign him before he became a UFA, but it should have been an immediate sign and trade kinda deal. Could have gotten quite a package for Hasek back then. But no, he keeps them both in the same dressing room until it turns toxic and Joseph gets put on the trade block. No takers, so he's waived and plays in ******* GR. Ultimate insult. Then Hasek has a season ender of an injury, and all is supposed to be forgiven cause Joseph is now needed. I'll bet he still despises Ken Holland to this day for all that crap. Hasek actually returned the $8 million he signed for that season after his injury, that was a surprise. Never saw that before.

Yeah, it's the best time to start picking up points in each game for sure. My dad was talking to me about this the other day watching the game, getting pissed off, saying wtf are they doing? Told him they just like shooting themselves in the foot. They should honestly just be floating out there now, playing Coreau until the last game. Why does Howard even need to play? Blash worried about him getting rusty? Give him the final games off.

Not really. Any faceoff that's important enough to match up righty/lefty is important enough to send out your best FO guy, regardless of which hand he is. In 2008 we were the best FO team in the league with Dats, Z, Filppula, and Draper. All lefties. I don't really think in the long run it matters much. I realize that in some really particular instances you might want to win a FO to a particular spot, but over the course of the season I don't think that matters all that much.

just think, if Adam Erne hadnt have checked Green we could be sitting on 3 first round picks and an early 2nd pick too. God knows what Kenny would have done with that! But id try and make a deal using that Ottawa pick and throw a roster player plus prospect to see if any GM trades their 1st rounder for it,

I highly doubt he's traded for a 4th. Maybe a 3rd, definitely a 2nd. I think T.O would have traded for him had they no landed Plekanec. Babs loves him.
