Went into the 3rd down 4-2, and just capped off a 3 goal comeback for a 5-4 lead with 52 seconds left in the game. Tampa is crazy talented

I got to see McIlrath here in Austin on Saturday, Griffs and Stars.... Baby WIngs won! Mc Ilrath has a nice snarl to him... big guy... I liked what I saw I am liking young Taro... and I do not think Kuffner looks anything like GusGus... both have reddish hair... dat's about it

missed the last game, pretty much -- I was at the GR Baby Wings game here in Austin, vs. TX Stars. Griffs looked lost in the first, until about 4 minutes remaining, and then woke up... they won 3-2 ... and many Stars fans were butt-hurt big time. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing Zadimples and Hulak (fiesty) and McIlrath.. who is big and mean and takes people out! I liked him a lot, and am excited to see him play tonight w/ the Big Boys. Please note: the "Flying CheeseBurger of Doom" mini-blimp in my pic of the boyz at warmup. It floats around the arena and drops coupons for Mighty Fine Burgers on the crowd. Chris Cornell... may he RIP... loved him (Audio Slave, Sound Garden, RGM. etc...)

Yep. Zadina makes a break for it when he realizes Megan has full control of the puck and that both opposing defensemen are in no man's land.

Zadina forces the defenseman. The defenseman makes a bad shot that ends up on Megan's stick. Zadina realizes his team has full control, makes a good read and takes off. Megan hits him with a pass and Zadina has a clear cut breakaway. Makes no mistake and buries it five hole. Bust.

It's pretty evident now that Mantha won't become the 30-40 goal scorer we need him to be.

let's see if Mantha can maintain. I have been referring to him (mostly to myself) as being a large tub of useless goo. He was less goo-like last game. Perhaps he sensed my dismay at his poor outings... and decided to play.

It's weird, but he actually gels with AA decently. Helm is like poison gas for AA, but Glenny seems to be able to give and go and not cough it up. AA gonna double shift tonight?

Seemed like that line worked reasonably well in the previous game, though I think Blashill did some line juggling as the game went on. I feel like Hirose-Athanasiou-Zadina could be a dangerous combo next season. Hopefully Hirose keeps putting up points and goes into the offseason on a high note. Would love to see him and Kuffner pot their first NHL goals tonight. Can we talk about how Ericsson-McIlrath is a thing? I feel like that's not getting enough attention. I kinda like it, tbh. He and AA seem to complement each other.

Hirose kinda reminds me of him. Similar players, similar strengths, similar playing styles. He's not a ginger tho.

He is forever my GusGus...

He's keeping the Canes in the playoff hunt, but they are hardly contenders. Played more games than McElhenney, and has similar numbers. They've been a solid, cheap tandem. Mraz is in a much better place than where he was in the summer, future uncertain, having to sign a cheap "show me" deal. Why not be happy for him that he found a team that likes and respects him, where he is contributing and having some success?
