    Jiri Hudler Watch Thread

is this a legit source? if so, i just dont understand how the Wings organization can be so ready to pull the trigger and send off a guy who can be a six player with 25-35 goals a year whose only 26...sure he's in some slump right now but i do believe the year before he defected he went something crazy llike 30 games in between goals. Like other young players the goal is always consistency. Why send off top six potential because of a slow start?

I think Jimmy is nearing or has already surpassed that lately.

I agree with this, but if it does happen Howard would only sit for 1 game because for some reason Babcock is afraid to play Ozzie in consecutive games.

I hope the boys aren't lazy. And I especially hope they don't suck. Prediction: Wings win 4-2 (3-2 in the 3rd and an empty netter) I get an "A" on my final exam tonite. (i hope i'm not lazy and don't suck)

Typical "sky is falling" mentality in here. Not sure why people need to post a novel to prove to others about this team. How about this one? Still in 1st place. Carry on chicken littles.

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=546302&cmpid=nhl-rxl-twt Seriously? Kris Letang? Article says Marc-Andre Fleury is second at the goaltender position, too. I know it's just a popularity contest, but damn. I didn't realize Eddie Olczyk had enough time on his hands to vote this much.

    Jiri Hudler Watch Thread

Actually tonight Hudler looked as close as he ever has to his old self. He held onto pucks a little longer and seemed a little more comfortable in the offensive zone. I did notice he opted for the pass on a mini two-on-one in the second where I'm almost certain a confident Hudler would've shot. He was pretty square to the net for a 2 on 1.

    Jiri Hudler Watch Thread

Hudler's biggest mistake in his life was his greedyness when he went to the KHL, to me at the moment he is a lost cause, much like Leino was, he won't overcome it here, perhaps in another organization or maybe never.

It's almost as bad as the FSN-D Mcdonald's player of the game vote. "Cleary with a 3 point night...our McDonald's player of the game is Henrik Zetterberg!"

    Jiri Hudler Watch Thread

I dont see Hudler offering anything to that line though, hes small and slow and doesn't provide defense. If he's playing against other teams top lines and d pairing I think he'll look even worst out there. Theres a reason babcock has never used him in the top 6 hardly, I sometimes dont understand why people say if he gets put in the top 6 he'll do better when he really doesn't have the speed or size to play like a top 6 player
