Now please Holland, give him a winger that can put the puck in the net.

This is GREAT! Such a unique talent and great all-around player. It hasn't even sunk in that I could get to watch him for longer than just next year. Igor Larionov was traded to Detroit in 1995 at Age 35. Think about that! I remember the radio stations blasting them for picking up "just another old guy" at the time - and think about how much he contributed to Detroit through 2003. No offense to The Professor, but Datsyuk is almost twice the NHL player that Igor ever got the chance to be. Such a cerebral player and in excellent physical condition. I've always gotten the sense that he could be productive in the NHL long after he "lost a step".

CONGRATS TO THE GRIFFINS! AWESOME SERIES, BOYS! At least Nyquist, Tatar, DeKuyser, Andersson and Lashoff got to enjoy one Cup this year. Great job, future Red Wings! Jeff

Well, since I nearly threw up listening to these Syrapuke tools talk on the AHL.com broadcast, I just muted it and pulled up WOOD online and am now listening to the future while I watch the past. GO GRIFFINS! Jeff

That would be horrible if they lose this series. Crunch are up 1-0 in the first.

    Wings interested in Weiss

Filppula has one season with more than 20 goals and 40 pts. Weiss has four 20+ goal seasons and six 40+ point seasons. Weiss also is a career 50% faceoff guy, is noticeably faster than Filppula, shoots more often, plays stellar defense, and kills penalties. He's a MUCH better player than Filppula. I don't know if he's the answer to all of Detroit's offensive woes, but to suggest that he's not is a significant upgrade over Filppula is absurd.

I used to respect him until this postseason. I am sorry but his whining and mouthing WHAT THE F*** while caught on camera to refs about every call has just made me lose what respect I had for him. He will never be the next Stevie Y. I don't know but the class that the Wings exude must just make me spoiled on how I expect hockey players to act. He is basically just another Cindy to me now. Honestly, living in Illinois, I was thinking with Wings in East maybe I could try to cheer a bit for Hawks in West unless of course a Cup matchup, but after this year the way these dirtbags are playing (Shaw, Bickell, Seabrooke, Keith, Toews) not really sure I can ever root for this current team. Also, Bergeron must have been pissed that Toews won the Selke (over him and Pasha) and had to show the Hawks how a real Selke player plays last night. I'll leave this here, an oldie but goodie:

After the poopy diaper display he showed during the series with the Wings, this makes me want to projectile vomit and set things on fire.

Don't blow this you bums!!!! JK! GO GRIFFINS! Do as the Wings say, not as they do, especially this last season, yikes!

Please don't let it slip away like the big club did! LGG!

Marchand casually trips Crawford and then pushes Keith to the ice. Really pressing his luck here. I'm firmly on Boston's bandwagon this series, but crap like this is not enhancing their reputation.

And that, kids, is what happens when you get out of position to make a hit. There is a hockey god, and hopefully, he's tired of the Hawks and their zany antics.

Yeah, the Madhouse sure got quiet, didn't it? Not sure there's even a crowd there now.

Lucic scores!! Chicago going for hit instead of playing the puck. Idiots. Keep it up, Hawks!
