Trotz seems like a good person and a guy who is devoted to the game. If he is fired I hope he can one day find peace in his search for Moose and Squirrel.

You don't decide what is threadworthy or not. We welcome fans from other teams here as long as they abide by forum rules like everyone else. If you don't like a thread, don't participate in it. If it is against forum rules, report it.

He's starting to mature, but you have to remember, he's 26, it's not like he's an old man. He was thrust into the spot light at the age some people still need their moms to wake them up to get to high school.

He'll have no issue finding another job. That guy has done incredibly well despite having scant resources to work with. I'm not sure he'd do as well in Toronto, where the pressure valve is turned up to 11. I'd love to see what he could do with all the talent in Edmonton, though. Talk about a change of venue! I hate to say it, but if we ever lost Babcock, I'd hope Kenny would give a long hard look at Trotz for our squad. He's a coach.

as a matter of fact, Wings only have one less ROW than the Wild. So, when you look at all the fanfare that came along with what the Wild were trying to do and considering the Wings were the Griffins for a big chunk of the year, ya, we're laughing way out loud!

Not to derail this thread, but anyone bashing Mule's play hasn't been watching him. Yes he's snake-bitten but he's had a ton of chances and he's playing well, driving the net, going to the tough areas, etc.

Exactly. What we saw from Goose wasn't typical production IMO. He was on pace for over 40 goals and I think he's closer to a 30 goal guy. So, it's not like something's wrong with his play now, in fact it's more normal than it was when he was on his rampage.

I wish no neck could stay:-( he's a great coach imo, and think he'd have us back in playoffs if not next year, the year after. With Jones and Jarnkrok young up and comers and Webber, future looks bright...let's go pRed Wings

I'm not usually a big Scott Hartnell fan, but the playoff series two years ago where he basically baited Cindy into losing his mind (and with it, Cindy's team) was one of the greatest stretches of epic awesomeness I've seen since the Wings won their last Cup.

Trotz takes a year off, Babcock decides to step down after next season, Trotz takes over. Him and Tippet are the only 2 active head coaches I'd consider over Babcock.

I think they need to keep Trotz and get rid of Weber. I'd reluctantly take him as a service to the Preds in order to help them get back into the playoffs.

I wasn't directing that comment at any specific one post. Like I said, I think he's the best player in the league but I still pretty much cant' stand him. But I also don't go seeking out videos about him that will only irritate me. Especially when one of the biggest complaints is about how much attention he gets. It's like drinking spoiled milk repeatedly and then asking someone else to drink it. "Doesn't this taste awful! Here, have some!" I prefer to go the route of "He Who Shall Not Be Named" when it comes to Crosby.

Roy and Cooper did admirable jobs but also walked into underachieving teams loaded with talent. Babcock taking the Griffins to the playoffs is miraculous and he is long overdue for this.
