You can't tell because the picture's cropped, but they're in Brian MacGratton's bedroom.

In general, I don't think it's a coincidence that he is a minus player this year (-5). It seems like having backchecking duties is a little too much for him right now. I think he'd be better served on Pav's wing where he can get open and be available for shots because as a center and as a primary facilitator, he's not getting too many quality opportunities. It also may help to move Tatar off of Pav's wing to freshen things up for him and get him going again (even though part of what has hindered him is the post...a lot). I just want Hank to age the way Selanne, and Jagr, and Pav, and Nick have/did.

The kid line that was most effective form us last year was tats, sheahan, and Jurco. I wouldn't mind then reunited.

It's funny what a lot of people here are saying. I don't think Cole has looked off at all. He's been driving the net which is absolutely unheard of here in Red Wing country, hitting some posts, coming into the zone with speed. On the contrary, I actually wish he was in. We could really use him down the final stretch here.

This is Red Wing land, where everyone is Captain Hindsight, with his faithful companions Woulda, Shoulda, and Coulda and Holland is a moron for not knowing a player would get hurt.

Axel Holmström now has 13 points in 9 games in the SHL playoffs and is on the way to breaking the old points record by a junior which is held by Daniel Sedin. http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/hockey/sverige/shl/skelleftea/article20582684.ab There's been some really nice goals so far! they can be seen here: http://shl.se/trupp/SAIK/5198 Pretty decent run so far, especially since he's spent much of the time on the fourth line.

Besides having a team that is playing poorly, so is the music man, and the sponsorship man and the intermission man. BORING. I'm going tomorrow still hahaha.

Tatar and Nyquist and Sheahan LINE

I think it's time to bring back the kid line. Hide them as our third line. I think I've had enough of the Tatar and Nyquist experiment. They are not reliable in our own zone. They wait way too long to shoot the puck or make a decision. It's one thing to score in October and November, it's entirely different to do it in the spring. They need a spark. Z - Pav - Abs Cole - Helm - Jurco Tatar - Sheahan - Nyquist Glendening - Andersson - Miller

Late season ringer for the playoffs, he'll play 5 mins a night and win the last 3 games in the SO for us. *fans go wild* "TODD BERTUZZI" (still pissed he couldn't win a cup with us)

Tatar and Nyquist and Sheahan LINE

When Tatar doesn't score he's worthless. He's a great second-liner for scoring depth.

Having been to three of the last five home games, I beg to differ.

Whoever complained about the goal horn hell no. Our goal horn gives me goosebumps everytime I hear it. It's fantastic
  15. 1 point
No I think it is time for a different horn and just one goal song. All the other stuff though I can't say, haven't been there.

How many goals does Zetterberg have in the last 10 games? or better yet, how many goals does Jurco have in the last 10 games? I mean you want him on the 2nd line. How many goals does Helm have? Great analogy: "If you lead the team in goals, but then slump we will bury you on the 3rd line, that way we can score more goals."
  17. 1 point
And yet, as far as a per game goal scoring rate.... Dan Cleary's one goal in 16 games still puts him above Tomas Jurco's 3 in 62 and Joakim Andersson's 2 in 65.... and he's not far behind Drew Miller's 5 in 79.

It's not an experiment, it's letting young players develop.

    Redwings recall Ferraro

Ansar Khan @AnsarKhanMLive · 6 hours ago Ken Holland said he thinks Justin Abdelkader is out tomorrow but possible to play before end of regular season (one or both of final games).

I've been thinking this as well. I think it would really help Jurco too and at the moment he could use any but of help to get some confidence. Splitting Datsyuk and Tatar is a serious con though.
  21. 1 point
Not Cleary's fault. He's being dragged down by 4th line jobbers as linemates. Wayne Gretzky couldn't score on a line with Miller and Glenfiddich.

Right now he reminds me of Mario Lemiuex late in his career when Mario was old and slow. You wouldn't notice him at all during the game, but he would still end up with a goal and 2 assists. Z just doesn't have that energy and strength that his game requires anymore - his skill and willpower can only carry him so far, so he can still rack up points, but he is incapable of dominating the play any more Right now the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.

Do Red Wings fans deserve better?

There's about 29 other NHL fan bases (non-bandwagon) who would call this spoiled

Do Blashill's teams score at 5on 5? If so, adios Babs.

The Sharks are closer to what exactly? They are not even in a playoff spot and have just as many locker room issues as the Leafs.
