Woah relax... Even tho Z is playing subpar his game is still 100% better than most of our forwards. Most of us are complaining about Z and comparing him to his own personal playoff standards, not the teams standards. Z is still doing better than most of the squad is. He's actually got the same amount of giveaways in this series as Datsyuk does.. Less giveaways in the season than most of our forwards including Datsyuk. Pav wearing the C, the refs would have a grand slam throwing us penalties when the dude theyre talking to cant effectively communicate in english to them. I understand you're unhappy with game 2 but dam gotta relax a bit there lol. This organization would never scratch their superstars. That's why its the Detroit Red Wings.

Little Bert is working his ass off for a roster spot next season. So far, I love what he is bringing to the table with the Griffins. As for the Griffins, despite losing on Saturday, they took the Midwest Division and are 2nd in the conference. I believe they are 3rd overall in the AHL. This team is going to make some noise in the playoffs with Blashill behind the bench.

Can't wait to watch. The crowd is going to be insane.

I think the hangar will erupt tonight in Winnipeg. That place will absolutely go nuts it's been almost 20 years since they've had playoff hockey there and if the Jets are scoring first the roof might not hold up.

Congrats teemu. now put on some muscle and translate that game to the nhl By the way, little bertuzzi looked pretty good out there in their last game. He didn't look like a guy they just threw in at the end of his junior season most of the time. He was quick, hit well, and took hits/avoided them even better.. even generated a few scoring chances. I'm excited for him to continue developing after watching him play.

There is no such thing as a tough arena. Just a tough team. Was the JLA a tough place to play when the Wings sucked in the 80's? Is the Staples Center a tough place to win at now that the Lakers suck? No, they're not. Same thing with so many other stadiums in sports. There's nothing imposing about the Patriots' s***ty stadium, but because the team is good, it's a tough place to play. That's the way it works.

End of the AHL regular season today. Pulkkinen lead the league in goals, despite playing only 46 games. Also apparently the highest PPG in the league. Congrats Teemu!

He's been in the league 5 years. Are you suggesting that 25 is too old? Anyway, Eberle would be a keeper for me. He's probably been their most sturdy contributer. Hall's always injured, and he's outproduced RNH so far.

You're comparing the point totals of a stay at home D-man to a two-way D-man. Scoring points is not Ericsson's role on the team. That comparison doesn't make a whole lot of sense. And +/- is far from a reliable stat. More, DK had 106 minutes of PP time this year, second only to Kronwall among our D-men. Big E had a grand total of 14 minutes of PP time the entire season. So you can see why DK scores more, that's one of his roles on this team. And yet being a 30 pt D-man shouldn't excuse one from bad penalties and bad mistakes. There was more criticism about Kronwall this year than there was about DK which is laughable. Mantha fever is exactly my point. If we brought him up and he didn't perform well everyone blinded with fever would make excuses for him.

I don't recall this Lindstrom guy, but Ericsson didn't play with Rafalski. He was generally on the 3rd pair. Lidstrom-Rafalski, Kronwall-Stuart, Ericsson-XXXX

Who says that? Everyone pretends to be fair and unbiased, but DK receives almost zero criticism for his mistakes and bad penalties. You don't get a pass for age. When you F up you F up. If we played a new player like Mantha right now, and he screwed up a lot, everyone would say "He's not ready"

I'm just tired of him. And all the drama that surrounds him. Some love it, and are super into this series. All this drama has me not giving a damn and has turned me away from watching it. My only opinion is that I want the Habs to be eliminated. I get tired of the attention seeking and whining from the team and their fans. Especially living in Canada. It is the worst. I would rather deal with Leaf fans any day. At least they are always around. Habs fans only show up when the team is winning. You don't hear from them when they lose.

I think Helm was our strongest player out there, and Glendening not far behind him, so I don't mind their ice time, although some of that elevation is due to all the penalties the Wings had to kill. Tatar and Nyquist aren't on the PK unit so that's what, 10 minutes or so of ice time they are ineligible for?When Abdelkader comes back I think we will see a lot more options become available from a lineup point of view. Babcock will also have the advantage of icing his squad last when the series shifts to Detroit so Tatar and Nyquist can match up against Tampa's third line. But really, I just want to see them (and everyone else) play harder and smarter.
