    Wow what a fun game that would've been to go to. Love to hear the Joe get that loud and see all the octopi flying out. Games like these are the reason I'll never take the playoff streak for granted and enjoy it whether we scrape by to get in or make it with flying colors.

    Missed the game due to a pit rehearsal (no wifi or cell coverage) then grabbing a late dinner with my wife, got home in time for the empty netter. Congrats to Petr Mrazek for his first NHL playoff shutout, and to the boys for the win for a series lead. Keep it going in game four!

    I'm not sure how anyone can watch a game at the Joe and think it's not a tough place to play. Detroit has some of the best fans in sports.

    Agreed. If they continue playing like this into the third they'll be really happy by game's end. I don't think there's any denying that Tampa is the more skilled team, but Detroit is working harder tonight. It feels good to be able to say that.
