Even then Helm or Weiss could be the third center.

They won't stop spending money on NHL games. Have you ever been to Winnipeg? There is nothing there! The Jets are all they have. They sell their building out each game. That is a heck of a lot more than the Coyotes can say. Who is last on your list? Arizona?

I know this would be a long shot but with the Blues getting tossed out early in the playoffs leaves them needing to make some adjustments, Tarasenko is due to get paid between $3,364,391 to $5,046,585 a year and if they wanted to get some new talent per Tarasenko's group 2 free agent contract which states that any team that would sign Tarasenko from the Blues would in turn also have to offer a 1st&3rd round pick to go along with that player's salary as well. That also depends if Tarasenko ask for that much money a year, if Tarasenko where to decide that he would want more, then the draft pick would also increase. If your really interested in seeing what all the requirements to acquire Tarasenko you can go to this link: http://www.stlouisgametime.com/2015/2/25/8097367/tarasenkos-contract. But all contract information aside. The real question I have for you, the Red Wing nation would be, how awesome would it be to see Vladimir Tarasenko play for the Red Wings? With Franzen dealing with constant injuries, we have yet to really solidify a replacement of Franzen's level and with Tarasenko on his last year of his contract would it not hurt to see if Tarasenko would have any interest in playing for the Red Wings and I wonder if management would pull the trigger on attempting to lure a player of the caliber of Tarasenko to Detroit. Looking ahead to the future we have a great young core and Tarasenko is only 23 so his presence would fit in perfectly with the current Roster of the Red WIngs. In my opinion we should at least make an attempt to go after Tarasenko, the guy is full potential and he is only going to get better.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but Dylan Larkin is Hockey Future's 2015 NHL Prospect of the Year. http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/124547/hockeys-future-2015-nhl-prospect-of-the-year-larkin-parlays-strong-ncaa-season-into-first-pro-contract/

Again, you cite an anonymous derivative of the Freep agent 'tweet'... that is the singular source giving legs to this mess. It 'seems' like you took time to read my reply (given the extensive bold highlights/redaction), but did you let the body sink in? Certification is certainly unattainable, but common sense should provide understanding that the narrative here is bogus. A baser and unbiased look at this situation provides perspective that, most likely, would contradict your findings. If you still fail to understand the source origination, I'm unable to render further assistance.

Here we go AGAIN - Coyotes, part DUH!

Completely agree. At what point is enough enough. Get that team out of there and give it to a city that actually cares. I do feel bad for the actual die-hards,

Well the loyal fans there got screwed over bigtime by the NHL. I mean the guy who is responsible for putting a team there should be fired once they are on the move. That Vegas gamble - oh the irony - is the next stupid project. How hard is it for the NHL to understand that hockey in the desert will never work ? Now loyal fans are going to lose their team, because the interest has never been there from enough people and the NHL front office was too cocky admitting their mistake. Give Quebec back what has been stolen from them a long time ago,, let the Nordiques return and for once have another strong slamdunk market, i.e. another Winnipeg.

The good thing about Arizona is that you can always escape the brutal heat by driving north 90 minutes. Or enjoy some snow in winter and leave at the end of the day and go back to the Valley. Anyway, the Coyotes saga is a mess. The only way this team can be saved is if they leave Glendale and move back downtown or to hatch a plan to share a new rink with the Sun Devils, who need to build one pretty soon anyway. The location doomed them from the start.

The wings new PK strategy will be to line broken sticks up across the blue-line to stop the opposing team. The sirdrake days were the best the forums ever seen IMO.

You have a flair for the dramatics.I like your posts. They're fun. But chea. I would rather see him as the 14th forward, than another unproven coach though.

    The return of The Mule?

The first thing I'll do is question where the doctors went to medical school and did their residency.

    The return of The Mule?

True. But I think that starts to happen to a degree with anyone who's become a scapegoat here. Ericsson, Cleary, even Howard the second half of the season. People were acting like Clearly's objective was to singlehandedly ruin the Red Wings and that he was a greedy, terrible person. Franzen has just been a scapegoat for a lot longer than most so the bashing has gone further afield, though honestly I don't remember a ton of criticism's that involved his personal life. Though there have been plenty of childish insults. Sometimes as a rabid hockey fan we forget these guys are real people.
