Take advantage of the BOS and MTL losses, get the 2 points and another ROW. (I wouldn't complain about OT since the extra point goes to the other conference, but I would prefer not to go to the shootout. shootout since I have a feeling the ROW tiebreaker is going to be a factor at season's end. I'd like to see Pavel embarrass Perry again, though preferably by burning him with a sick move then a goal rather than by winning another fight with him. Larkin lighting the lamp a couple of times, and Kronwall drilling someone cleanly. Last game the PK trended in the right direction (coincidence that Miller came back? I think not.). Time for the PP to start converting. This. A couple of insurance goals would help this. Give Mrazek some goal support.

It's incredible how you managed to get insider info on what Holland is and isn't doing on a regular basis...

Maybe but Hasek was a 7 time Vezina winner so it hasn't always been the team in front of him.

Won't get claimed and people will still try to include him in a package for Malkin

I fully support Mrazek as the starter being best for the team going forward, but a part of me really feels for Jimmy. I hope he does get an opportunity elsewhere because he is a good goalie that just fell victim to the circumstance of Mrazek blossoming into something special now. Jimmy has always represented the Red Wings well and seems like a class act. Whatever happens, I'll always be a fan.

And you know the moment that happens everyone who called for trading him in the first place will bemoan how stupid our GM is for trading a clear star goaltender.

How do you know he hasn't been trying to trade him for a while now? People are upset Kindl has been waived? He had zero value. Holland can't win on this forum.

Not even sending Marchenko down would help. His cap hit is only $666 k and they need to relieve 1 million to activate Quincey. I think a trades coming up.

Get rid of Errorson. Problem solved. Errorson for Ovechkin.

No way Carolina is letting Faulk go. I can't imagine that Trouba is going anywhere either, especially if they're moving away from Buff. Shattenkirk would be awesome. Still need to sort out some of our roster issues before I can see us adding an additional FA like Yandle to the mix. Hell, we don't even have room to re-sign Quincey which I am not opposed to if Ericsson could be moved. (Doubtful except in a package?)

I heard that moderator haroldsnepts doesn't floss as much as his dentist recommends. Is that behavior you're comfortable with from a moderator?

With Montreal and Boston's losses - this would be a really nice win for us.

Yeah I meant for 6 defenders. Free up a space for Quincey. Not sure why I said "sent down" lol. I mean't 7th guy. Holland always praised Marchenko and so did Babcock. And now you have Blashil pulling out metrics and talking about how Marchenko is one of the best when on ice in "grade A chances against" as he called it. That's why I'm making the bold prediction that Marchenko stays. But practically speaking it's easier for him to be the guy to be scratched, rather than Ericsson. I would love to see Kronwall and Marchenko. Kronner is declining and having Marchenko as his partner might actually help him with his defensive mishaps. Marchenko is the safety net that other D-men need. Recently Smith praised him for that very reason.

Ha.It's common knowledge just started trying to trade him the other day when quincey was cleared, Holland just is too stupid to think a week in advance and hasn't been trying to trade kindl the last few seasons. Bahahha. Either Holland is actually ridiculously stupid, or the people who think this is the case are, that our they left the bridge they're supposed to be guarding...

The problem is that he just doesn't have enough value to trade for even for a late round pick when teams know he is going on waivers most likely. They might as well try their chances and if they don't get him oh well.

Kind of crazy they actually put him on waivers, but after how much praise Marchenko has received lately I kind of figured it would happen. I'm kind of surprised they couldn't get a 7th round pick for him, or a borderline bust prospect or something, but still, good stuff.

I read that Calvin kept the ball from his last TD. I may be reading too much into it, but that doesn't sound promising for his return.

That's the fun thing about hockey. No matter how wrong you are about a player, if you just keeping saying it long enough you'll become right. Larkin is awful and doesn't belong anywhere near the NHL.
