Some old school Photoshop War material for good luck.

I have it on mute... insult to injury to have to listen to their moronic goal song over and over and over again.....

I think watching the Wings is like ripping band-aids off... just do this, and do it quickly.

I can't even blame the goalies. This team is horrendous :(.

That's my patented copy and paste from dailyfaceoff.com line combinations, half-assed "i'm at work and need to throw a quick one out there" GDT.

Also they should have picked Vanek over Nielsen.

LW C RW Gustav Nyquist Henrik Zetterberg Anthony Mantha Andreas Athanasiou Frans Nielsen Thomas Vanek Tomas Tatar Dylan Larkin Justin Abdelkader Drew Miller Riley Sheahan Luke Glendening Defensive Pairings Dan DeKeyser Mike Green Jonathan Ericsson Alexey Marchenko Xavier Ouellet Ryan Sproul Welcome back Abby and Green, lines look solid. Would like to see Larkin on the top there instead of Nyquist, but we will see how it turns out. Mrazek likely in, LGW!

These idiot defenseman need to stop deflecting pucks past our goalies. Its getting ridiculous. Just get the eff out of the way. Thats on the coaching staff again for continuing to not make adjustments. This road trip needs to end with kenny not letting blashill onto the team plane back to detroit.

    Yep. Hard to watch.

The team really sucks :(. But you can't fire the whole team so I see Blash's time to be limited.

Damn you Wings for making me listen to this song again and again. This one's going downhill fast.

I have a feeling Chicago is going to regret giving Panarin that huge contract right off the bat. I'm surprised there was no bridge deal...I hope it does hurt them big league!

Sheeesh listen to some of you *****.....I don't know why some of you don't go find another team to cheer instead of all the negativity. GO WINGS!!!

Welcome back Abby and Green. We have a d man who can make an 12 foot pass now so thats good. Just need Helm back, figure out how bad we really are and start evaluating options or...............................win 15 of our next 20 and get back in it. Thats the spirit Nice GDT by the way. Simple and effective. Wings win 8-3

    Value of trade assets.

Didn't we trade a 2nd rd pick + Eaves + Jarnkrok for Legwand? And our aspirations were just to MAKE the playoffs. Certainly a team trying to win the cup would trade a 1st for Green, right? I mean, it's tough finding good Dmen out there. Just ask Detroit fans....

Lines do look good. Would still like Jurco over Miller, but the top 9 looks like it could do some damage if everyone's going. I'll bet the idea of moving Tatar down is to give Larkin a quality scorer (Though of course Tats has not been in top form). Hope Green helps out that weak PP and Mrazek plays as well as he did his last game in.

We should all be ashamed that we didn't "John Scott" Riley Sheahan into this game.

Probably turned it down if that sort of stuff happens. But I don't think it does. At best perhaps an exception for older players to keep their health in consideration. ----------- I'm glad people are seeing that Toews has been an overrated player and held on a pedestal. Hell I'm glad Toews himself admits he doesn't deserve it. I've been bitching about how overrated he is for like 3 years. Might be the MOST overrated player since he entered the league.

I'm glad Zetterberg isn't going, he could use the rest. He'd probably just turn it down anyway, ending up in a suspension...

    Mid Season review

If you really think Jurco has been given a fair shot, I don't know what to say... If Jurco was given the same rope as Sheahan, or basically any under achieving player on this team he would be producing... The skill is there, I have no idea why he's in Blashill's dog house, other than the fact that Blash is a complete moron...

    Value of trade assets.

I think there is a lot of overvaluing here, perhaps different if we were discussing this 5 years ago. Draft picks are more valuable than they've ever been. It's very difficult to get a 1st round pick out of someone (especially with a rental). Don't forget, Yandle was traded along with another player + a 4th round pick and the 1st round pick coming back was conditional. I also don't think the Wings have any players being discussed above in Yandle's position (still relatively young, Dman generating 50+ points a year and on a very friendly contract).

    2017 Draft

Too early to talk about the 2018 draft? Never! Although I'm very surprised he said Samuelsson and not the extremely hyped "Lil' Svech" aka Andrei Svechnikov... Richdg already has the '19, '20, '21 and '22 drafts planned out...

I agree, which is why I believe we should sell the vets at the deadline for picks. I don't believe any package of Coreau or Sproul would get us anything that would help us now or later, and I also don't like the idea of kids for picks. Which is why I keep those two, amongst others. I don't mean to insinuate that they're untouchable, but at the deadline we're selling for picks, not one single player. Again, one player will not change this team. Why sell our kids for one player that still won't get us The Cup. Then we're out a Cup AND our young talent. Get picks for Green, Vanek, Nyquist, Tatar, Smith, Ericsson, Howard and play for the highest pick you can get. I personally dangle that top 5 pick to a team like Calgary or possibly Winnipeg for Hamilton or Trouba along with their 1st and hope for Foote.

More hyperbole. No doubt he failed with Suter, but the Wings have landed top UFA's almost every year. Now if you want to argue the results of those signings, that is a different story. But if we are talking their ability to land players they want, they have. Weak UFA classes and poor results from the players signed have been their problem.
