Not a ton of impact players in this drying market... I'm not terribly concerned that it's drying up. Vancouver signed our most likely UFA d-man target. Carolina bummed me out too. I guess Wiz is our last UFA hope. Ehrhoff would be a mistake at the money he wants and White's suddenly a journeyman (which may speak to his true value). At this point it's Wiz or a trade as far as I'm concerned. I don't think it'd be a tragedy to give Smith and Kindl a shot at real mins instead of making a panic signing.

Unless its a really low-ball offer, he's going to the Pens I'd say...

The forwards would be fine. The defense would blow. It pretty much comes down to that.

Once you start getting a few its pretty easy, Twitter will suggest otehr accounts and is usually not all that far off. Or you could just pick someones account, like mine(@GS_Brooks13) , and bring up the list of people I follow, as long as you dont mind sorting through the mix of MMA and Hockey people haha.. I also have seen a Twitter "List" that you can follow that has all of the active NHL players who have Twitter. On a side note, just thought I would share the funniest thing I saw on Twitter today.. Ryan Kesler tweeted "How do you get a verified account around here!!???!!! Cmon throw a guy a bone" and someone replied "Win a cup."

Ok for those of you who haven't gotten the Red Wings conspiracy newsletter here's the plan: This summer the Wings sign Stamkos to 8 million dollars a year for 10 years thus sending our next 4 first round draft picks to Tampa Bay. This would be a bad thing if it wasn't for the fact Holland has already planed for this. Next season Lidstrom will retire, in a freak turn of events (and some incriminating pictures taken December at the board of governors meeting by Jiri Hudler with some women he met in Russia and Kevin Lowe. This is why Hudler went to Russia people!) Lowe steps down at the end of next season and Lidstrom coming off of his 5th Stanley Cup and 8th Norris retires. Seeing a job opening in Edmonton he throws his hat in for the job and is hired on site. Edmonton tanks as expected, but, wanting to get assets for the future he and Ken Holland work out a trade. He trades his next 4 first round picks to Detroit for our fourth and fifth rounders, reasoning that because they were Detroit's they must be gold. Thus the Wings get Stamkos, for a pretty fair cap hit and still have first round draft picks every year. Don't tell the rest of the league...

If it's simply about which city he likes best, I'd pick Montreal too. No offense to Detroit or Pittsburgh, but it's no contest. If it's about being on a Stanley Cup contender, I'd rank them 1. DET 2. PIT 3. MTL .

The Hudler hate from some people on LGW has reached a fever pitch. Drury for Hudler because Hudler had one sub par season? Good God.

You'd have a better chance of turning the Coyotes into a hockey a hockey team before you could turn the Mets into a baseball team.

I would imagine if there were an existing professional baseball team that wanted to join the league, it would have to change its name if there were an issue. New Yorkers love baseball, right? So let's convert the Rags to a baseball team. Maybe turn the Mets into one too.
