Did he retire because he's 6'6 and it's physics?

I was cleaning my garage last weekend and decided to go though a box of some of my old stuff my dad dropped of about a month ago. This is had been in storage in his attic since I moved out in 1999. It was a collection of my Yzerman cards I thought I had lost. I do have a rookie but that is on a plaque hanging in my basement. And I also found this guy, back when I collected cards I had no clue he would turn out to be the perfect human. My Wife asked if they were worth anything, I said not nearly close enough to even consider. I thought I would share.

Stephen Weiss will have better nights in Detroit. This has been a rough one.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for Pronger. This is poetic justice for a dirty scumbag of a player who spent his whole career viciously and intentionally trying to injure people. At least Cooke is trying to pull a Mikita. Pronger was dirty to the very end.

I like this team more with Tootoo on than without him. I like this team more without Smith than with him! And Gustavsson seems to be playing with some kind of divine inspiration right now everything bounces his way and he looks extremely confident out there. We need much more energy in the second period though, if we keep playing like this we will lose...

I figure the fourth line, which should be pretty fresh, might get some more time than usual. Glendening has shown he can be pretty reliable, Tootoo has looked good, and Miller is Miller. Beyond Gaborik, no huge offensive threats that need to be shadowed, IMHO.

Yawningly anti-climatic, and I can't say I'm heartbroken. I've had a good hate on for Pronger pretty much his entire career. Glad he's not really hurt or anything, but I'm just as glad he's not playing anymore. Can't say I'm really upset for Philly, either. Does that make me a bad person?
