The Pro-Zadina faction isn't Anti-Seider y'know. Seider will make the Wings before Zadina. That doesn't make Zadina a bust. I consider myself Pro-Seider and Pro-Zadina.

I think it was cause Larkin came off the ice based on earlier posts. Or maybe just maybe the Pizza box people shot a dart into Larkin's leg hence forcing Helm into a 1st powerplay unit and 1st line center position

I don't think that Devellano and Illitch are controlling SY at all. Yzerman was there when KH was GM. If there was any puppeteering going on Steve would have witnessed it. I cant see him leaving a job where he had free reign and built a contender to manage a team that was needing a rebuild and handcuffing their GM. Doesnt make sense for him to do that.

IMO, something is wrong if The Net Filler, in his 2nd year pro, cannot bump Ehn or De La Rose off of an NHL roster. I maintain, we should've gone D instead.

These lines and the roster in general are highly perplexing. At first I thought we had a chance to surprise people and make a playoff push. I’m starting to think our management has realized that and truly is doing all they can to keep Tank 2020 alive and well for one last high draft pick run. This looks like the work...of a saboteur!

If these are the actual lines they are planing on running in the premiere you would have to assume they are purely ice time related. AA sat out the last preseason game so maybe he gets less time on ice to get back on his feet. Haven't read anything on Hirose though. When AA is back to form he takes his place on the second line and Val or Frans goes back to centering the third. I fully expect to see Glendawg going up and down the line-up all year long. The Blashill Blender© will be in full effect the first quarter of the season. The fourth line is gonna be a turdstew no matter what ingredients you use. Daley over Bowey I suspect is injury related too. But, yes, this is terrible.

Pretty clear factions are forming. Team Seider and team Zadina. You can't possibly like one and also like the other. Team Seider here is a small faction, but we're resilient and growing in strength. Sure Yzerman dealt us a blow today, but we will bounce back and come back stronger when Seider makes this team b4 Zadina does. Team Zadina on the other hand? They're on the defense. They've been on the defense for nearly a year now. They don't realize team Seider is grinders. We're gonna fight for every last inch and chip away at them little by little. The seeds of doubt are already growing in their minds.

I remember back before it was officially announced I said that anyone who thought Yzerman was going to be a big change from Holland was going to be disappointed. I didnt agree with the Nemeth or Flip signings either, but I certainly wasnt surprised by it. You've turned into Leftwinger, LOL.

Poor Holland. Keeps a premier franchise at the top of the standings for more then a decade, winning multiple cups. A legendary feat. Then when the window is closing, the men behind the pizza box demand he goes for more cups anyway. So he dances like a good monkey for them and runs the team into the ground. Then when the pizza vendors finally come to the harsh reality the team is ruined, they finally allow him to rebuild it. Two solid years of masterful rebuilding later and they demote him in a PR move to quell the kvetching of the fans. The good soldier cast aside the moment the sexy Yzerman becomes available. Pathetic and sad really. And where is Jimmy D? Still plotting and scheming, pulling the levers to bolster pizza profits. Makes me sick.

Michael Rasmussen is such a badass. Can't wait till he chokeslams a guy in an actual game. He's basically the Braun Strowman of the AHL now. I want him to be our version of Tom Wilson.

I have read that. Probably not someone that Yzerman would be interested in. But it’s a low risk move. Claim him. Play him ten games as a try-out. Maybe being waived can be a wake-up call. Maybe he answeres up to a new enviroment. If it doesn’t work out. No loss. And as you mentioned we have guys that can sit.

If we're going after "one of Larkin's best friend's", I'd prefer to go after Werenski... There's no way the Red Wings are giving up next year's 1st round pick, but they may eventually dangle their 2021 1st round pick (which was the pick mentioned in this trade). We'll likely be a lottery team again this season, but I can definitely see this team making a strong push for a playoff spot next season. I agree. A little too rich for my liking. Not saying that it's not fair value, because it just may be, but not a trade I'd feel too comfortable making at this point in the rebuild.
