Well she starts by saying that she has been a hockey fan since she was 8 years old. Based on the quality of writing and information she presented.... that would make her about 9 years old currently. So lets give her a break.

Todd Bertuzzi. 2 goals, 7 assists in 7 games. Read more I've always liked the guy, and he's seriously becoming one of my favourite Wings. Like Mike said, his work defensively, his willingness to back check has been superb so far this season, the best I've ever seen in that regard. Loving the second line.

I'm sure there's some well thought out counter-points to this "article" and already there maybe some responses similar to this one: Shut the f*** up, you uninformed, obviously jealous fan of some lackluster bottom feeding team, and overall hack of a "writer". Try again in a couple years when you've assessed the league and individual franchises as they currently stand, as well as the histories of those franchises both pre- and post-cap, and what that means to success, mediocrity, and failure in the NHL. In the meantime... choke on a bag of dicks.

Rafalski has just been a beast the last few months of hockey (stemming back to last season), I can't wait until he's back. Things should get even better then. Lidstrom-Stuart Kronwall-Rafalski Kindle-Salei Ericsson I don't get all the Salei hate. Most of the goals against have come because they're paired with the third line that doesn't know how to play defense, correct? I fail to see how those goals are therefore Salei's fault. They haven't been caused by glaring mistakes by Salei. I see nothing to blame him for. Same goes for Kindl.

    Kronwall's Hit on Selanne:

This and don't forget Fistric's "legal" hit to Franzen in the Dallas game. Selanne saw him there and did nothing to protect himself. What's Kronner supposed to do let him go by with the puck or dive at his knees? Good hit, f*** the Ducks. esteef

The call on Perry was not weak. That f***** knew where he was on the ice, was leaving for a line change and tried to take Franzen out of the play. I don't believe for a second that it was unintentional and that Perry didn't see him. It was a pick plain and simple. Interference. Good call ref! esteef

It's funny though, i think i never heard babcock whine about officiating.. only thing he says is like "i don't get to referee the game etc" while almost all other coaches do it on a daily basis.. STAY CLASSY

    Kronwall's Hit on Selanne:

why don't we just make the entire sport no-contact, and I can quit watching? By the way, I think the guy they suspended the other night for grabbing a fan ought to get a bonus -- the fan asked for it -- and LOVED it, no doubt. They're playing hockey, not tiddly-winks. Jeez. oh, ummm, GO KRONNER!!

    Kronwall's Hit on Selanne:

Kronner has already been the victim of a few dirty knee-on-knee hits, remember last season? Imo there wasn't really anything wrong with this hit.

    Kronwall's Hit on Selanne:

looks to me like kronwall caught selanne's chin with a little bit of elbow but most of the hit was shoulder he was on one foot when he hit him but he left his feet afterwards. problem is kronwall leans too far forward when he goes for hits like that. it's annoying.

    Zetterberg Slowing Down?

He's definitely gotten better each game. I mean, it's not that much of a surprise to me that he hasn't exploded out of the gate. Pav usually has relatively slow starts too. They're twins.

    The Third Line

its a message board. we are here to discuss red wings issues. right now the 3rd line is not looking great. in another game or two we will be 10% through the season. when is it long enough to make changes? very few are advocating anything other than a slight mixup in lines. what is wrong with that? i would actually argue mike babcock doesn't think its too early as he already was pulling homer off that top PP unit in favor of cleary. all he was doing was shaking things up to help get guys going. thats pretty much all people in this thread are saying. also, hudler missed all of 1 season. no need for exaggeration.

For me, the question is not how many goals he will score, its how many games he will stay healthy for.
