NHL.com Video Lately Patrick Eaves has gotten playing time in Stars' first line with Seguin and Benn and he has 7 points in the last 4 games. Last night against Chicago he scored a hat trick in the first period. The game ended 4-2. TSN.ca

    The Petr Mrazek Appreciation Thread

Your not wrong, stats are definitely skewed with the decrease in scoring. I prefer to look at how good a player was in his era compared to his peers, but with that being said, goalies now a days are much better athletes then the goalies of the past. Bottom line, Mrazek is the real deal and if he keeps at this pace could be one of our best ever. Though he is a long way away from that.

This kid will lead us to a Stanley Cup in the near future.

I think our D in their own end is underrated on here. Way better than previous years. They're usually always there to clear the second chances

DeKeyser and Green both confirmed to be in tonight. Mrazek starting.

Mrazek is the real deal. #mrazekforvezina

If Mrazek keeps up and can narrow the "wins" between him and Holtby (as Kliq suggested to me) he will likely win Vezina.

Ansar Khan ‏@AnsarKhanMLive 1m1 minute ago DeKeyser staking. Mrazek in the starter's net. Green skating like he's ready, paired with Smith. Some unexpected good news... I didn't think Mike would be ready... We'll see after the skate if he's playing tonight

That's not fair. Olausson played a long time in the league and was a much better player than Ian White. He was past his prime during the 2002 run, so it's fitting his career didn't last long after that.

Holy s***, is that him with the beard?

Least Olausson was productive and won a cup in his one season with Lidstrom.

    '16-'17 The Joe's Farewell Season

I've been to JLA over 100 times now and while I'm excited for the new building, I don't think any rink in hockey sans the ORIGINAL Original 6 venues will ever compare to the atmosphere of the Joe.

Boy, Freddy Olausson reminds me so much of Ian White. Long career, one year paired with Lidstrom, and then nothing.

I'm not sure if they play in Toronto at the end of their careers or If playing in Toronto ended their careers. It's a toss up.

No comparison. Yzerman was an amazing offensive force in his prime, even without championships. If he retires in 1995, you could even make a HHOF case for Yzerman. Can't do that for Phaneuf. My post wasn't about championships but about how he hasn't lived up to expectations since his younger days in Calgary.

Honestly I think most NHLers are pretty nice guys to hang out with but the thing with enforcers is this, they are also very smart: Scott has an engeering degree, Westgarth succesfully finished Princeton, The Grim Reaper is a lawyer, wouldn't surprise me if Gazdic and Reeves would be Harvard finishers. as far as changing the ip it's so simple: either use a Proxy or even better a VPN client I'm not getting my hopes up, but if were the GM guys like Scott, Prust would NOT play in the AHL right now
