Your post was pretty informative and I appreciated it. I wasn’t his biggest fan because I personally didnt think he was that good of a fighter. But If you asked me years ago I would have never expected Bootland at 900 games. So props to the guy for being more accomplished than everyone on this forum.

Not that I care more about him, though he is a friend. Since he was a Redwing, just thought I'd share. Personally, last two years or so I've come to enjoy the minors more. NHL is becoming more whistles then shots at the nets, much higher percent of fights stopped etc. Also since moving here to Kansas City, there is no NHL team close as the Blues are a four hour drive and not worth the gas money as where an ECHL team, Kansas City Mavericks play less then3 miles away from my house, so yeah I've sparked a lot more interest in following the minors since moving here. The games are a lot of fun as to where it feels like 80'-90's hockey again.

I didn't know that Bonds and McGwire represented the entire United States olympic team. Dumb comment GMR, I'm disappointed. Soviets were notorious for doping since the 80s. Widely known. But back then there weren't really any anti-doping laws as stringent as today. But what makes this hilarious is that they decided to pull it off again in the 21st century and failed miserably. Because they're idiots. I think 49 some medals were stripped because of last olympics. 49??? And by the numbers half the Russian athletes were doping in the 2016 olympics. Wtf?? Lol. At least try to be subtle about it. Every country (including the U.S) has doping issues with athletes, but the wide scale that the Soviets/Russians did it in was laughably stupid. And what's hilarious is they're actually playing victim and whining about it. Well unless the IOC appeals the decision, Putin and his boys have a lot of time now to think it over and compete like real men with the rest of the countries. I linked it. Turns out there's more stuff going on in the world than Trump's toupee problems. Of course dumb Americans that live in a box (most of the people) don't know that.

The game is lost anyway. Should have pulled him at 3-0. Maybe they'd have a chance then. At this point, I wouldn't mind seeing him get lit up like a Christmas tree.

If the team played like this most games I wouldn’t even mind the losing. At least games would be interesting and the team looks like they care. Hopefully they don’t get down on themselves for not scoring in the 1st and come out just as hard in the 2nd

According to Gary Bettman the league should generate between $4.5 billion to $5 billion that would increase the cap between $5 million to $7 million with $3 million being the very least in which is still good so a salary cap of $78 million to possibly $82 million would be pretty awesome. I would assume so if the salary cap increases to either $80 million or $82 million then yeah one would think that the floor raises also.

If its 7mil, that is huge for us. Makes the bad contracts less of a liability. Hopefully we don't spend it on anything other then elite talent/RFA's.

Thanks to Vegas for this! It will be interesting to see how much space we'll have. But that will all depend on whether we're planning on bringing back Green and where Mrazek fits into things. Anyway, good thing for a big offseason where we have to re-sign Mantha, Larkin, AA. to deals (Frk too).

That's a huge stretch. Are 900 career minor league games a huge feat if you are sitting in a room with NHLers...probably not. Is it impressive when compared to most of us? Probably. Its all relative. Bashing another person's accomplishments for no reason is not "keeping it real"
