Throwing him on different lines seems to have him more engaged and impacting the game. Wouldn’t mind seeing Nielsen centering that Nyquist line for a little bit to see how he does

This is just not true. EVERY analyst that I read had him as a first round pick, and most had him as a top 10 pick. My personal go to is Bob McKenzie, I trust him more then anyone else and he had him at #9 . Very interesting. I'm definitely a bit torn about what the best decision is going forward for the club would be but I think a change of the guard would be a good one. I not convinced Drapes is the answer either, is there any GM's available at the end of this year they could be look at? I don’t know how the defense would even function without Green throughout a whole season. How are we going to insert Hronek/Cholo into the lineup with a train wreck like that and ask them to run the PP and push offense? #1 priority is trying to get these young players to hit their ceilings.

I dont get why you are so against signing Green, but want us to waste money on a guy like de Haan. Green is a very good offensive D-man, and I would love it if guys like Hronek and Cholowski were able to play with him. As for the "below average" part. Please explain? I can't see how you can justify this one. He currently ranks 36th in points for a D-man, and I believe he is top 30 if you look at PPG (taking out the guys who have not played alot of games). Each NHL team has 6 D-men playing each night which translates to 186 D-men. I get that points are not everything for a D-man, but how can you say a top 36/186 guy is "below average".

I'm a little torn. I want Dahlin for sure. But there's no denying that sibling chemistry on ice is second to none. Both Svech brothers could be a huge asset to us if we end up with them as successful NHL players. Can we just get 2 high picks?!?!
