I don't want to see a bunch of arrows and graphics cluttering up the screen when I'm just trying to watch the game, but this technology could open the door for a lot of real-time (or near enough) stats that commentators could utilize. It would be cool to know if Shea Weber just broke 100mph on that shot that Glendening just blocked. The trajectory thing could also help in determining if a puck was deflected before it went in the net. I can definitely see uses to this, but let's not travel back down the same road that led us to the glow-puck.

That would be the "JUCK F***ING POTT"! In all seriousness, I do agree with roboturner that using it for determining if a puck actually crossed the goal line could be a good thing. Heck, anything to offset the incompetence of on-ice officials would be good.

Modano? LeClair? Leetch? Chelios? Roenick? Mark Howe? Other? I'm leaning towards Chelios myself. Leader, hard-nosed gamer, great guy in the room and a seemingly inexhaustible will to win.

My vote would go to Chelios as well. The rest other then maybe Leetch were never the greatest at their position at any particular time.

People seem to forget the most important thing to an organization is making the playoffs and getting a ton of extra revenue, not necessarily to please the fans by not trading Jarnkrok to miss the playoffs. It isn't all about us fans sometimes, in fact I have no issue with the move then, and still don't. Anderson was our #1 center due to all the injuries, we would have bombed the rest of the season if not for this move. People need to get over it and realize we are spoiled, imagine having the Leafs for a team or Buffalo, would you even watch half the games? We should be thankful Holland is running this team and making such moves instead of falling in the standings (which I'm certain a portion of the fanbase would stop following the Wings).
