After tonight's game vs the Pens, we have a relatively "easy" schedule. No more back-to-backs, 3 out of 5 at home, 4 out of 5 against none playoff teams... Thursday and Sunday games are huge against Buffalo and Ottawa... We could very easily have the 2nd (maybe even 1st) best odds at winning the Dahlin lottery... We should play Coreau 4 of the remaining 6 games to "see what we have in him"...

No idea. I've never seen him play and haven't heard much about him until the past few weeks. I'd expect mid pairing defenseman, but that's just a hunch based on his college numbers over the past few years, and the fact that he'll be 23 years old (this weekend). Keep in mind though, Butcher was the big college free agent last summer and I didn't think he'd be anything more than a bottom pair defenseman (again, just based on numbers), so I was wrong there. I have no idea what Brickley will be at the NHL level. I wouldn't mind signing him, trading / waiving Ouellet, and let Brickley and Hicketts battle for a spot in training camp.

Red Wings have one win in their last 15 games, and that was a shootout win. The fact that they would consider bringing back Blashill and Holland is absurd. "I am a big believer." "Got to follow the process." BLASHILL I AM A BIG BELIEVER THAT YOUR PROCESS IS AWFUL!!!!

If we don't fire Blashill after this season I won't watch any games next year.

I hope Dekeyser gets traded, or falls in a well, or something between now and then. I genuinely cannot believe that teams were interested in him, Helm, and Glendening at the trade deadline and none of them got traded. FML

Hicketts recalled again. Will likely be up for the rest of the season (hopefully playing over Ouellet)...

Would it look bad for the league if the Wings suddenly decided to have all their players shoot with their opposite hands the last five games of the season?

Didn’t watch the game but seen the highlights. 3 of the 4 goals were extremely soft, coreau sucks and will never be an NHL goalie.

Someone posted the other day about the #of posts in the GDT being a new low and suggested we go without one... I just assumed that was happening.

Dekeyser isn't a bust. He's a 2nd pair guy. He just struggles w/o the right D partner or if he's put in the wrong roles.

I'm with the rest of you. I actually stopped watching because I'm cheering for loses. I don't feel bad about it, because losing now means wins later. I'm actually not interested in watching hockey at all right now. We'd be bad fans if we ditched the Wings and started cheering for another team.

The Wings are better than last year, not by much, but they're right where they belong.
