Here's hoping Drew has a swift and complete recovery and is able to still play afterwards, if not with the Wings, then elsewhere. He has been a great soldier for the Wings in his time here, and a great penalty killer, regardless of the ignorance of some who can't comprehend it. When the NBCSN guys say he is a 14 percent difference on the PK, that is a HUGE impact. I'm sure he is resting and rehabbing, probably listening to track 11 off of the RHCP Blood Sugar Sex Magic album since it is such a chill jam.

We get it. You hate Holland. Guess you had to move on from Miller since he got hurt.

Normally i'd worry about losing Kronwall, but not this time. He needs a rest. We have guys that can cover what he currently brings to the team. No big deal.

Kronwall out 2-4 Weeks after Knee Scope

I still think this could be a blessing in disguise. If he had it scoped, odds are it has been bothering him for a while, which could explain his drop off in play this season. A bit less wear and tear on him and fixing that problem, could pay big dividends in the late season push and into the playoffs.

Getting him back will be our big deadline acquisition.

I would run a tight ship and bring GLORY to the word ADMINISTRATION. Violators of the rules will be given swift punishment and the victims of trolls will receive JUSTICE like never before! Under my regime we will target wrong-doers, flame-baiters, trolls, and anyone who goes into the "post every time you look" thread but doesn't post by ip tracking, finding their coordinates on google maps, and dispatching MOD MEN to the scene to deal swift PUNISHMENT. No ban will outright be given as I am a man of forgiveness and second chances, however I don't think many will be posting for quite some time after MOD MEN visits. We will have to hold an official application process for MON MEN volunteers, of course. If you are interested in joining I encourage you to apply. Applicants will be vetted and pending a physical will be given a MOD MEN badge and coinciding avatar and signature to display their AUTHORITY in LGW. As this is a free site MOD MEN will not be payed in cash or perks but in the HONOR of helping to keep the streets of LGW clean! WE WANT YOU!

    I'd go with Coreau.

I'd do that in a heartbeat, a great guy making league minimum would get a car, some money and have a great experience.

Absolutely agree, although it will be a tough few weeks without him.

How crazy will it be if his teammates keep setting him up and the other goalies are easy on him just to piss off the league by causing him to win the MVP award?

Actually I think we're pretty strong on D. It's our offence that seems to be able to score on average a goal a game :/

Those acting as if Kronwall being out for a few weeks is a good thing are gonna get a rude awakening on how important he is to the team.

No idea why he doesn't use his size. He's built like Pronger.

Its funny, I used to have several other favorites, but as soon as I watch them in a game against the Wings, I don't like them anymore. Honestly, I don't even feel good about even wearing another team's jersey because someday that team could screw over the Wings.

I don't know if I have a 2nd team now. When I was a kid in 1997, I adopted the Flyers as my 2nd favorite team after the Red Wings beat them in the Finals. I liked because of their name, uniforms, the fact that they were the team that the Red Wings beat in the Stanley Cup Finals, and I also liked their history of being the sort of big badasses of the NHL. I always thought of them as the NHL's Oakland Raiders. These days, I tend to pull for the Original 6 teams to at least make the playoffs. There's nothing worse for the league and fans than having a bunch of small non-traditional market teams such as Anaheim and New Jersey in the Stanley Cup Finals every year. It's no wonder ratings were in the crapper during the early 2000s. I also find myself pulling for the Blues during the playoffs since they have never won the Stanley Cup, and play in a great sports town that reminds me a lot of Detroit.

    Goalie Battle

The nature of this thread needs to change. The battle with Howard is over. Mrazek's now battling for something else. His numbers are climbing every game, and he is playing about as close to lights out goal as you can. If he keeps this up, he's going to be leading the league in save percentage soon, and he stands to creep up on Holtby and Bishop in GAA soon as well. If he keeps up this play and keeps getting the majority of the starts, he stands to be neck and neck with Holtby for Vezina by the end of the season. We are the luckiest.

    Bravo, Smitty

Smith doesn't think quickly enough to be good. I'd settle for useful and not a complete train wreck in his own end.

My second favorite team is anyone playing Chicago.

Wings - only wings. Can't give any of my emotional support and willpower to any other team - it would be a waste.
